Can't complete beginner loyalty quests

Hi there, I started a new account and I realized I can't donate the 1000 loyalty to continue the quest. I tried buying some tickets with loyalty, but that didn't work. Any advice?

    LOYALTY OBJECTIVE for new players...
    Kabam should just change this to be Loyalty SPEND (like the Ally Event is)
    Then buying an Alliance Crystal, or purchasing something in Loyalty Store, would then count.
