Personally, I would not get my hopes up for anything before August- September

Nope. As yet the only thing that has been announced is that they are looking into Champion fight and they may look at other parts too but that’s it so far. If I had to guess I’d say they would also look at Sinister and Mordo too.

    I personally think that 6.3

@Ghostboytjie i would guess as others September maybe even longer, depending on the RoadMap on friday, it could take the rest of the year to change the game based on the feedback from players.

We're getting the roadmap on Friday?

Atleast roadmap is on friday. Was hoping the change would be soonish but not That soon. I just want to finish act 6 exploration but want to do it when its easier than waste a few revives now.

Just have to wait for the roadmap, personally I’d be fine with them just toning down the champion and dropping the attack values across the board.

This is why I never have a problem with them staying silent until they have something concrete to say. They say one bit of something and people read into and draw their own conclusions and get a completely different idea in their head before a decision has even been made or announced.

They haven't committed to changing anything at this point. They said the champion fight specifically is being looked at but not a whole lot else. That doesn't even mean that one fight is guranteed to be altered let alone all of Act 6.

If it doesn't get changed now you're gonna have people like this coming out with the "but but but you said" even though nothing of the sort was guranteed.

I get your point, but saying they would look at The Champion, and then end up deciding the fight is fine, would make no sense - and leave the community unnecessarily disappointed.

Personally, I dont think the changes will be mindblowing, and probably will only affect The Champion fight. I dont expect them to change attackvalues, gates or other bosses. If Im wrong, it will be a pleasant suprise.

Sure it makes sense. Saying you'll look at something is just that. When your parents said "they'll think about something or talk about something" there was still always the possibility of a no coming.

It would make some disappointed. Some like myself don't see any reason for it to be changed. Possibly the no retreat node but that's about it. Do I care if they do? No but I'm sure not gonna be up in arms if they don't.

Anytime they say a little something before a final announcement is made this happens though. They say X people hear Y. When they end up not getting what they want it's roll around on the floor kicking and screaming time.

Yes, this is exactly why Kabam held off releasing content and committed to releasing a road map. While I agree they have not committed to changing anything , even the no retreat node removal will constitute change. It would be crazy to look at it and say, it was fine when there are threads popping up all over about act 6 and specifically champion fight. Sometimes, it feels like people who have completed act 6 simply want everyone to suffer like they did.

I think the biggest issue is the ambiguity. Change it or don’t, ‘look at it’ is too loose considering how triggering that fight is for most people. If they’re not set on changing anything, there’s no point in announcing anything, especially with how reactionary people become. If they come out and decide that it’s fine as is I think the outpouring of angst will be pretty spectacular.

Really, they should have looked at the fight and decided it needed retuning, prepped the changes then made the announcement, or looked at the fight decided it was fine and just kept Pandora’s box closed.

This isn't the first post either I've seen where someone asked when the changes are going live. They never said they were going to change anything. I want them to communicate more, and invite us to see into their process, but as you pointed out, this is what ruins it. People will clearly be upset if they never change Act 6. Unlike you I see several things they can change (even in the champion fight without ruining the core mechanics), but when people jump to conclusions off the announcement we got, it's a reminder why they don't do that more often.
Oh there are definitely things they could change and most of them I'd have absolutely no problem with and would see the logic behind. Whether I think they're necessary is another thing though.

If they make some stuff easier for more players to get through it, fine. Won't upset me in the slightest and I don't care about any "compensation" either. I went through all the content at the level and cost I was willing to do so.

If they change rewards, like they are doing in Abyss, then yeah I'd expect to be included but outside that I don't particularly care what they do.

Which is why I've always said they shouldn't say anything at all until there's a concrete decision. People hear what they want so just don't even allude to the possibility of changing something bc people will just give you grief later if they don't get what they want.

Same here and I have stated this multiple times too. My only issue is the tone that you send the message is important. It's better to simply say "It will be in the road map" than saying you guys need to stop screaming or whining or the like. It is needlessly antagonistic. Thank you for the civil response.

But the complaining has gotten way out of hand lately. It just gets old. People have gotten to the point that they're almost asking for a whole new game design which is just silly.

I understand people are unhappy currently and a lot of their points are completely valid. Just as many aren't remotely valid though. Any time someone disagrees with the mob they just get called a shill or the fact that I'm a heavy spender should invalidate my opinion.

Do I like their direction with content design? Absolutely not. Do I think people have any valid reason to be having complaining sessions bc they got a bad 6* in a game where that's completely random? Absolutely not. If you disagree with the mob here though it just turns into spamming caps lock and talking about "fairness"

I don’t know what they will do but for the health of the game they need to fix 6.2. So many people have written off act 6 solely because of 6.2. Removed emp mod from sinister, remove class gates, remove node from mordo. I don’t have issue with champion fight remaining as is but if you want to change it I wouldn’t complain

I am free to play and have done 100% act 6 and initial abyss path (have the units to explore after 4 July deals). I did this cause I wanted to invest the units earned in completing content to grow.

It was hard work, grinding arena for units and carefully planning paths etc to do it a little at a time. Is it hard - yes, do I care If make it easier - not really, but would expect Kabam to return what I spent as I had to grind and save for that and lately it appears people don’t want to do that.. just Moan about the content, moan about Rng in champs and expect it to be a roll over. This is not monthly eq.

You are not wrong but the reason the complaints are in such great volume is because it’s like 1 to 1.5 years of bad decisions by kabam that built up. There were flair ups of dissent prior but in drips and drabs. I relate it to being married. A lot of times the argument just isn’t worth it, so you bite your tongue. After biting your tongue enough times for long enough the eventual explosion usually exceeds the rational response to what is happening currently. The community is having an irrational response because collectively we have been biting our tongue for too long.

People complain about literally everything all the time here. Look at the reaction to the current side event which is by far the easiest version of labs we've ever gotten.

The problem when you complain about every little thing, is that it's hard to know what to take seriously until there's massive melt down. So I'm not surprised the vast majority of prior complaints never got addressed bc there's just so many of them from every single UC EQ that gets released, to offers being a "slap in the face" (the most absurd thing I've ever heard of), to rewards being to stingy constantly. It's just everything always.

If people saved some of the incessant moaning for stuff that actually warranted it, it might not be so bad. If they didn't try to string up kabam for every little misstep in something said, they might tell us more.

I'm not remotely saying all of them, but a lot of the current issues we have are just as much the fault of the playerbase as the developers.

I think kabam has earned that though. Yes some of it is petty, sure personally I have been petty as well. Just think about 6.2 champion. A difficult fight with few counters. Some counters worked really well. What was Kabams response? Nerf she hulk, going through with changing Morningstar interaction. This is just an instance, but time and time again this frame of adjustments because things are too good for the players appear to be more prevalent than the inverse.

Players have been warning them about things for a while, 6* gates, sinister fight, class gates, health and attack pools, etc. and the response is acid wash sinister, gimme vtd, special con path, then the act 7 beta which was everything prior on steroids times 2. They earned what is happening now, they have no one else to blame

Definitely don't agree with you here. None of the changes to She Hulk, MS, or BWCV were nerfs. You can disagree all you like and that's your prerogative.

I personally think the current state of communication from Kabam is just as much the fault of the players as it is Kabam. I wouldn't call a large portion of people hear rational and level headed.

You don't get to let Kabam off the hook on communication just simply because people complain too much. They have done a poor job at communication for quite sometime and the complaints people have today is nothing new. If Kabam looks at all complaining the same that is their fault but they have legitimate players in the CCP who can decipher between just crying and what complaints are legitimate for players.
If they removed act 6 gates, and tuned down Mr. Sinister and the champion boss we wouldn't need this thread at all. I personally gave them feedback about it because I went into act 6.2 the first day it was released and expressed concerns and we have whole threads that did the same. Kabam has created majority of these complaints due to inaction.

You also complain constantly about many things that don't need to be changed. There's no problem with the gates until you get to 6.2.5. before that, they're manageable by anyone that should be exploring the content to begin with.

Just bc you or even lots of people WANT something doesn't mean it NEEDS to be changed. You can not like it all you want, there's plenty in this game I dislike. I don't however expect things that are already released to be redesigned to suit my preference though. I didn't when I struggled with master EQ before UC was even a thing and I don't expect it when I have a problem with something now.

I've never had them on the hook to have to let them off to begin with. It's blatantly obvious my opinion of a large percentage of the people always complain about everything. If I was kabam I wouldn't talk to them either.

Some of the things I personally am citing I have done and or have the appropriate counters to do. Just because it does not impact me, doesn’t mean I can see it is bad for the health of the game. I only have 2 path deaths the entire season, doesn’t mean I should be ok with flow. I killed acid wash mysterio using g2099, doesn’t mean the fight should not be removed from the game.

Doesn’t matter, ship is sinking, let’s see if they can manage to plug the holes
