So i guess im the stupid guy but feel like a fool. People up here talking about chaining Sp3 but how you do that to stack charges? My charges are spent in combat or expiring... What am I doing wrong?
So his sp3 gives him six permanent charges. The other charges expire after a few seconds and you can use two charges on the fourth light attack to power drain, so what you want to do to conserve charges is do MLLLM combos rather than MLLL combos, that will stop you from losing your indefinite charges.
About time there was a stone-cold counter for that kit
Tech counter is definitely good. But Colossus is a pretty solid counter too, since he's immune to bleed and Incinerate, and has permanent +100% Power Gain when suffering AAR.
Some if those numbers for Guardian look pretty impressive, though.
I was really bored and took my 3* up against WS and spammed SP3 until I had 100 force field charges
Not joking, one SP2 with that many charges and suicide masteries wipes out 53% of WS’s health as a maxed 3*. Impractical, but very fun.
Who wants to bet that one of his nodes in Uncollected/Canada EQ will be along the lines of 'Guardian gains one permanent force field charge every six seconds'...?

Wish silver surfer was like this, such an iconic marvel character and such low fun champ to play...
Haven't gotten around to playing Guardian yet, but from what I hear its just sp3 after sp3 etc and then sp2 for some crazy damage? I dont know why kabam keeps designing characters like this where for so little work you get such a big return in damage. As fun as I think Silver Surfer is to play his rotation gets annoying and boring for how little damage and utility you get out of him from optimal play. SS should be hitting like Guardian for the work you need to put in to maintain his rotation.
Is Guardian at least balanced in that he has no utility? SS just doesn't have enough utility to justify his play style or damage.

No utility?
He's got Taunt on SP1
Up to 80% bleed resistance means he'll heal (with Willpower) from Double Edge
Similarly, high Energy Resistance can let him heal from Shock/Cold snap/Incinerate
Decent basic Block Proficiency when Awakened
He can Parry non-contact attacks*
He can Autoblock Special Attacks*
He's can Perfect Block Special Attacks*
He can block Unblockable Special Attacks from mutants* (*See how these abilities might work together?)
He doesn't land critical hits
He's got access to an emergency Power Drain
He'll shock opponents who reduce AAR (Domino, Magneto, Black Widow) and when effects reduce his ability accuracy (Concussion, Slow, Neurotoxins, Soul Imprisonment)
I mean, he's not the Swiss Army Knife that either CAIW or BWCV is, but he's definitely got utility!

Lol I was making more of a point that Guardian has better damage and utility for so little effort compared to Silver Surfer. I figured he would, but wasn't sure since I only looked over his abilities once.

I think what kabam should have done was gave a 4* guardian to uncollected and above players and everyone below 3*. The reasoning behind this is because you can’t use a 4* past act 5, but that is just my opinion.
It’s just a fun gift to play with, a lot of the time it’s a 2*. By your argument all of us who are Cavalier should have got the 5*.

Just say thanks for the free loot and fun champ.
Could you imagine a 6* r3... Pffftt
