It's not about old or new devices.

I have being playing this game for 4year plus, but this is the first time I am seeing that there is a requirement of a specific device to play mcoc, is this the new aim or direction of this game now. I can replace my device too get a new one but in my alliance where there are free to play players who don't have an option ask me why is there no mcoc in the play store anymore. How did I get the update and why all of a sudden is there a device limitation on this game.I was a bit confused till I saw what there taking about, alot of players like me have the update then there are some who just didn't get it because of there device and people tell them to change there device, how ignorant, you don't know people situation at all in life but dare to past judgement. Anyway kabam can this get fix if not guessing my alliance or other's out there will probably leave.

There is nothing to fix here.
There was at least 2x times where the game requirements went up. And both were announced on the forums with at least a month prior to it, as well as ingame messages.
This was the 3rd time. While there wasn't a forum announcement this time, there were ingame messages, sent out to those who had such devices.

It's always been this way. Every sort of gaming platform does this. You can't play Playstaion 4 games on a Playstation 2 console. As this game progresses, graphics become more complex and older phones can't perform as the game intends. It's just the way it works.

Update your device to a new device. I don't understand how it's Kabam's fault that you continue to want to use a outdated device. They have to move their game forward to continue to be relevant. They can't hold game progress back because you can't/won't update your device.

@Slayer09 , There has ALWAYS been some level of Device and OS version requirement for the game.

If you look at the screenshot (in some of these myriads of threads) that shows the White Background, with the OS listings, that page in Kabam Knowledge Base has always existed. And has been updated several times over the years.

In fact there used to be 2 separate pages for that, one regarding OS versions, the other used to have detailed list of Apple and Android Devices themselves. (Later the device one was consolidated to just be the OS list, as the number of different manufacturers of Android devices probably became too unwieldy to try and document).

There have been other in-game msgs in the past too, for those running older devices, that their systems will no longer be supported.
