As @Worknprogress said, stop wishing for the fisher price version of the game and git gud
Git gud!
Honestly, Kabam gave us an easy break with this one. Not worth complaining on at all.
I will be glad when they address the quit out meta that people use — I know I am old school, but I think backing out of quests and quitting out of fights is trash. If you’re a good player and the node combination is trash, say that. Offer that feedback
Quitting out is just trash to me
I tried sampling a fully ramped up,rank 4, duped Morning star against him in uncollected difficulty for the fun of it. it was straight hellish 200 plus hits. At that rate, I'm sure she can't handle the regeneration of a 300k HP Sasquatch. thankfully I have a rank 5 starky (boss killing matching).
Why I'll say the regeneration is outrageous is at some point your Patience won't save you.
OG wolverine, just have him at low power and you can handle the fight no matter how hard you hit.
Sabertooth his regeneration is about 30ish % of damage dealt, so just keep hammering away, you'll get him down no matter your attack points.
Sasquatch you need a direct counter champ for that regeneration, if you can't deal 5% of his health in 5 seconds, you're going no where once he's below 40%.
If you quit out of the fight -- any fight -- to me, the characters in that lane are then locked. You either go back in with a new team, or you beat it with the team you had.
This is the way many games used to be. Then they created Save Points, and it meant that you never truly had to get better. You just had to be persistent.
I don't necessarily agree with that, but I understand it.
What I don't like in this game is the ability to quit out and the opponent stays at the health they were when you quit, you keep all of your persistent charges, so on and so forth
If you quit out, fine. Then there needs to be a significant penalty that is far greater than it is now
I am saying that if you have a 5/65 CapIW and you can't beat Sasquatch at all, then something is wrong
My point being that you should not benefit at all by quitting out. That’s the point.
Again, I started playing games when it was totally different. You either beat the roadblock or you died.
Times change, people change. But that’s what I am talking about in the context of this thread, where instead of people offering the OP tips about useful counters or being truthful about readiness if his roster should be able to handle it, people are instead advising the player to quit and avoid the fight
