Why is there ccp Beta?

I wondered what it is for.

For them to be able to get stronger versions of new champs to test without affecting their live server accounts. Max sig R3 6*s would affect their prestige/AQ rankings and whatnot so this way people can see that champs at their max potential without causing issues in the actual game

It allows them to test new champions at higher ranks without affecting prestige, using their own items and energy. Also let’s them test other champs at different ranks which they may not want to do on the main server

How not, they are content Creator program.. they advertise the game for MCOC.. They put hours of hark work into filming and editing to make us videos. They deserve what they get and thats a beta server to test new and old champs to supply us with data and gameplay.

Previously they were getting max sig R3s for the most part which can’t really handle the meaty end of Act 6 where most of the utility and therefore motive to grind/gamble for the champion sits so it wasn’t really doing what it needed.

Giving out a max sig R2 and offering the ability to R3 the champ means they can test it literally anywhere in the game and with free resources they could brute force their way to certain matchups test the champions in specific encounters eg No Retreat Champion for example,

I think it’s a huge positive and if it gives them the chance to test out less used/ranked up champs in their rosters so much the better for us. Outside of a few players here and there a huge amount of us have never experienced a really niche champ at 5/65 because we wouldn’t invest in it.
