As for act 6 I feel you. I’m stuck on the champion fight and don’t know if I should continue. I have SS and quake for the fight but should I wait till the champion gets nerfed?
Stuck where u r. Decided to take break from all Act 6 till nerf. In meantime just stock up on supplies for AoL and so on. Do arena for units so dont have to buy.
Don't want to do act 5 because tedious. Don't want to do act 6 because too hard and nerfs are coming in a few months.
You're wasting in game energy not getting easy enough rewards, that would help you later in Act 6, because you're waiting for Act 6 to be easier.

Lol, you're a moron. So is everyone else nagging on me for not exploring Act 5. I'm playing the game to have fun. 5.3 isn't fun so why the heck should I feel the need to do it? Act 6 is something that I want to do. I've cleared the path to Sinister itemless without any K.O's no problem. It isn't too hard, I just don't have a truly viable option for Sinister because of stupid game design. Quake is the only option I have that doesn't guarantee you need to use revives. But yes, I'm not quite skilled enough to do a half hour long Quake fight.

How is exploring Act 5 supposed to help me get past a roster roadblock? A generic AG, rank-up resources and 2500 6* shards aren't going to miraculously give me a counter.
Those 2500 shards might lead towards getting a counter. That rank up gem might be able to be used to rank up a champ who can also counter. The exploration rewards from the chapters will give you shards which might lead to a counter.
Every bit of content that you CAN do that you're choosing not to do, is gimping your progression.
Yeah, cause out of over 45 5* crystals and 7 6* crystals, 2500 6* shards is gonna make all the difference in getting what? The 3 or 4 champs that can get me through Sinister without Heimdall and Angela or excessive item use? I look at story mode as something fun to do, not as a way to get resources.

Hopefully when they nerf act 6 they also gate access behind act 5 100%, stop people rushing then complaining when they have to stop and let their roster catch up.

Act 6.2 forward would be fine. Feels like a cavalier rush is easier than act 5 100%
It’s certainly less burdensome since it’s 6 paths instead of 100+. I did Cavalier first, because it was closing in on July 4, 2019. This gate would be annoying AF but players need to understand when and how to progress. Go play variants.
@Etjama I agree 5.3 is terrible, but Act 6 will be similar even after the nerf. I 100%’d 5.3, but hated the experience. I’m gonna try Seatin’s advice and do Variants next.
Yeah im stuck at Mr. Sinister as well; horrible combination of nodes. Story mode should not be this restricting; you can only use 5* and 6* and on top of that they want you to use a poison immune champ with active fury buffs as well.
I dont have Heimdall, Captain Marvel, Hyperion, Medusa, Crossbones (not even a decent option tbh) or any other poison immunity + fury combo. If at least 4*s were allowed I could use my 4* Heimdall for synergy only.
What do you mean by story mode shouldn’t be restricting? If there is one one good place for restrictions, It's story mode. There is not any time limit, you can take your time to fill the holes in your roster. What’s the point of having hundreds of Champions in the game if they are not necessary in some way. It doesn’t sound well when you complain about act 6 restrictions without even exploring act 5. Just saying.
If you don't want to explore act 5, then I'll tell you what to do, save up on units for cyber weekend and gifting event and tell all your alliance mates to send revives, then go in and quake him down but you'll just waste 4 months doing nothing
It is better you explore Act 5 100% because is clear that you are not ready for act 6. Since you have quake and crossbones and still cannot push for sinister. I did mine with a 5* rank 2 crossbones unduped but I burnt portions because i did not want to rank him higher just for a specific fight. If I had quake I would have not spent much revives.
