Alliance Jumped 2 Tiers

Hey has anyone see their alliance jump 2 tiers in 1 war? We went from being Tier 8 to Tier 6 the next war after 1 win... I’m not sure how that makes sense. Now we won again and are tier 5 but that was after 1 off season win and 2 season wins.. so 3 wars took us from Tier 8 to Tier 5...

    Because of the rating halving if war tiers were already fairly close, a win that gives a lot of rating would push you 2 up

    Not sure it's clear which wars you say had jumped you from 8 to 6, to 5.
    If you’re saying the last preseason one is what took you from 8 to 6 (?) and then these 2 season wars we just had went from 6 to 5 ???

    Could be you were looking at your Tier after last preseason war when it took some time to gradually apply that HALF WR adjustment to everyone. You could have been looking at 8 at a time when some but not all Ally’s had begun to have their WR halved (and thus looking at Tiers at that point would have been very misleading).
