Perfect block busted

I was able to see, using sunspot, that perfect blocks are registering but not activating. I mean that I hit block, the words 'perfect block' pop up on my side of the screen, but the ai ignores that and hits me all at the same time. Is there any reason that should be happening?

    It rly sure if it relates but sometimes if I do block while getting hit perfect block triggers and I get solar charges back

    The enemy needs to be incinerated for his perfect block to activate iirc.
    You sure the enemy was incinerated when you checked this?
