Isn’t Arkus consider a Boss?

You have to defeat 1 boss to activate the objective, so the objective appears after you defeated Aarkus.

1st time just gives you the objective, 2nd time and on will start giving you points.

Yeah, I'm not really sure what purpose it serves, although I have a few ideas why they might've implemented it.
