Its been months since levels 4 and 5 of Pure skill do nothing. @Kabam Miike, please provide an update on this mastery.

What is being done to fix it?

Why is this so impossible for anyone at Kabam to supply an update on? Been extremely patient about this, we want some action on this fix or refund.

Pure Skill doesn't make them money anymore. So why bother with it? It used to be the only Class mastery other than MD that was worthwhile. Now? Trash. I'm guessing fixing it is right around Bases on the To Do List.

Among the injustices of this game, Pure Skill is one of those at the top of my list.

i said it on the old forums months ago, and ill say it again here:

"when willpower was tweaked along with suicide masteries, a MAJOR refund was given. Units, 5* shards, the whole bit. That was likely due to the high portion of the player base that was invested in that mastery. Pure skill is a more niche mastery, but the 12.0 change to flat values are every bit as egregious as the willpower changes. The players need to see some sort of OFFICIAL response to these complaints, and refunds if the original performance of the mastery cant be restored."

Now i was naive back then and its been many months and many more issues since that post. we were on the heels of some major changes having been rolled back in our favor. Now im wiser and i see that refunds are never happening.

We are talking about R4 and R5 of this mastery that are completely ineffective. The top ranks cost 120 cores = 3600 units or 960k loyalty. That is the cost of a class specific 5* crystal, or a OG Vision 4*, or a 5* Unstoppable Colossus.

we are not talking about small scale items here and that's just for the ranks of the mastery that are deemed useless by the kabam mods themselves.

I can only try to appeal to the pride and ethics of the game team. Is this the game you want us to play? Is this a product you want to present to your customers? How does it make you feel to take money for something that offers no in game value, when stating that it does.

Caf said that you guys love this game as much as we do, I'm constantly going back to that post in my head. Pure skill and the silence on it, and unwillingness to even give a clear answer, they are signs of a deeper issue.

The player base has been VERY patient on this issue, and we need some response.

Well said @mutamatt it has been far too long. A response, and not "we're looking into it", or a refund is in order. I haven't spent a penny on this game since 12.0 and told myself I wouldn't until pure skill was fixed or refunded.

How can pure skill 4 and 5 even still be unblockable at this point? Any new player that unknowingly unlocks this mastery is basically spending some form of in game currency for absolutely nothing.

This really can't be that many people who have unlocked this mastery on all 5 levels, why not just do the right thing and compensate the people who have unlocked levels 4 and 5?

The design team can surely come up with some amazing replacement options for the skill class mastery, vote on one and implement it. I don't think anyone would be upset having a reworked mastery that functions properly.

@kabam Please give us a response on this topic.

The last 3 updates haven't even matched their notes, not surprised they still haven't done anything about pure skill. maybe it's time to ask for refunds and give out 1 star reviews. This game is following transformed into the forgotten realm.

It’s just appalling. It really shows you the ethics (or rather lack of) this company shows for its player/customer base. To take something that people invest a lot of real money into and give absolutely no regard to. @Kabam Miike and team should really be ashamed as to how they treat us all. Clearly they don’t play this game or feel any sense of community toward us. All I have to say is if I was a mod and I actually played this game on a daily basis, I would push a lot more to get answers. The timing on stuff that hinders us is drawn so far out compared to the timing on stuff that hinders Kabam’s bottom line. And we are tired of hearing it’s still in discussion. That ship has sailed.

So let me summarize:
-Kabam just wants this to go away. They will not fix it.
- The only useful mastery is M.D.
- They cannot do an update without ruining the game
- They do not respond. They said they were looking into it.

Give me the deal they gave people with suicide masteries.

They really need to either fix PS or refund everyone that bought the cores to unlock it. To continue to ignore this is incredibly shady to say the least. It doesn't take a year to investigate the mastery.
