Stealth Spider-Man Web Foam is not working

The title is self-explanatory. The last two times I've brought stealth suit spider-man into alliance war and activated web foam as my pre-fight ability before fighting Thing, it has not worked. I did not record the first instance, but made sure to record the second so I would have documentation of the issue. Both times, based on the icon that shows when I apply it, it appears to be placing his vulnerability debuff on my opponent. However, it is clear from the pre-fight screen that I did not make the wrong selection. This has resulted in alliance war deaths that would not have otherwise occurred, and as such I believe this needs to be patched by the developers IMMEDIATELY in order to avoid skewing the results of this season.
