Arena rewards update

Last time when arenas were updated was 15th February 2018
Now it is over 2.5 years and we are still getting those phc shards from milestone and just 150 people for 5 star featured
Now it is time for a 5 star basic arena and a brand new 6 star featured arena
Since u were discussing about to make 5 star champs more available especially champs who are desired by the people then I think the basic 5 star arena is the great answer to it.
We are getting only 2000 5 star shards from top rank of 5 star featured while in Sunday arena you can get 1750 5 star shards in a single day
This is really ridiculous
Now it is time u should update rank rewards and milestone rewards as well
And please remove those phc shards and put cavalier shards or grandmaster crystal shards there

    Honestly the rewards do need some sort of an update. I always felt the milestones should be upgraded. Like there should be a gold reward in each milestone and that there should be more milestones in each arena room. Cause I'll tell, I have no motivation to go beyond the milestones.

    You mean more golds? Cause they changed the golds from each milestones and cramped them together at the first 3 milestones to less burden the grind.

    I wasn't aware that they cramped them all in the first 3 milestones. Must've been when I was a newbie or before my time. Nevertheless though, I don't see how it could hurt to add a reasonable amount to each milestone. With everything else becoming more easily obtainable you need gold to use it. It'll help give a but of motivation to progress further than the first 3 milestones.

    I do agree though, arenas have become a bit dated. As someone who has the vast majority of good 5* the only reason I actually do arena is for units now and because 5* shards lead to 6* shards. Despite my roster I’m still nowhere near being able to get close to pulling a 5* featured champ without dropping 1000+ units so there needs to be some motivation to grind.
    If I do a full cycle of arenas and hit the top 10% in all of them I’m still only getting around 3k 5* shards and that’s for 3 hours work/day.

    Agreed, the Arena rewards definitely need an upgrade and so does the AI and UI to keep me motivated for grinding. They did say they'd update the AI and UI so I'm looking forward to that but i dont think they mentioned anything about the rewards

    Arena is gonna get an revamp according to roadmap. So the best we can do is to wait and let kabam work it out on their time speed.

    In the meanwhile there are different methods to earn golds. Monthly quest, incursion and selling stuffs.

    1 hour or less of your time with a good incursion partner can help you a bit.

    If you don’t mind doing arenas for the units then take your chance to farm those PHC, open them to get ISO from duplicate champions and then sell those ISO, but that is if you don’t plan to rank up some champion.

    If you aren’t into Incursion and Arena then Questing is probably the easiest gold net as the tile offers golds while fights offer golds. You would end up netting like 3-5k (random number guess only) golds per run at the highest difficulty plus combined with completion and exploration reward.

    Will you explain a bit more why the crystal splash need another update? They changed the whole thing with Sunday arena.

    Oh believe me, I love incursions. But the last month or 2 with the endless amount of bugs in incursions. It gets me so frustrated I almost dont want to do it period. I am aware though that this update was suppose to fix bugs in incursions and its getting updated here this week so it should be interesting and hopefully not an endless pool of bugs.

    I was unaware they were going to do any bigger like changes to arena though. I will say that.

    My memory is failing me, but I recall they plan to add more milestones and increase the rank reward pool from 150 to 300. Then I don’t really understand what, but they plan to create something brand new arena system. Again! My memory could be mixed.

    I could get behind just adding more milestones alone. Like I said once I hit all milestones. I have no motivation or drive to keep doing arena. And you can hit all milestones pretty quick if you got enough champs for the arena.

    They should update the arena milestones to 5* shards and 6* shards for those who are Cavalier and change the amount of units for one milestone in arena but also the amount of BC u get from a 3v3 fight but also from milestone. And literally get rid of those PHCS in the milestone

    I've been preaching exactly this for well over a year now. In my eyes, it's far from a dumb idea. Not only could the rewards be more catered to the player's current progression level, but it would in turn expand how many rank rewards are distributed. If each bracket was dictated by Progression title, you'd inevitably be pinned against those closest to you in story Progression, and would deflate cutoff scores for lower tier players.

    The current model of time in game for Beginners, Intermediate, and Veterans brackets is just a tad dated at this juncture. With so much of the game already hinging upon your current progression title, it only makes sense for it to extend to Arenas as well. This not only would expand how many players gain access to certain tiers of Featured Champs, it could entice players to spend a bit more time exploring Acts vs speeding through the Story mode in allowing them easier access to newer Champs. Or vice versa, give them the drive to push through to access greater rewards.

    Now, on the flipside this should (in theory) come with certain restrictions IMHO. If they did employ such a system and were to add say a 6* Feature and a 5* Basic, they'd need to restrict access. For those lower than Uncollected, 6* Feature would remain locked. For all, once you enter the 5* Basic, the 4* Basic would remain locked for the remainder of that 3 day Arena cycle. Same with the Feature for those UC and higher. You can only choose to enter the 5* or the 6* Feature. Once you enter one, the other is locked for the remainder of the 3 day Arena cycle.

    The reason these locks would be a necessity is to prevent anyone from having greater total access to more Arenas than others. This would also limit how many milestone rewards a player has access too, and thus preserving the in game economy. As I recall, the main reason given for why they didn't want to add a 5* Basic was due to it upsetting the in game economy (as per the Dorky Dave interview video way back). If this is still on the table, the aforementioned locks would be a perfect way to prevent any issues in allowing Uncollected and higher players from having access to more milestones than those lower.

    Now as to the milestones/rank rewards and what they could potentially look like per Progression tier is something that Kabam would have to hash out in house. Only they know what they want and do not want to see available resource wise available per tier in game. Now when it comes to say the 5* Basic Arena, it would be NICE to see a champ given at the 1-10% rank reward bracket much like the 4* Basic. It would be nice to see GMC (at minimum) shards given to those UC and higher in the milestones. For the 6* Feature it would be nice to see Cavalier Crystal shards (unlocked for Cavalier title holders).

    Only thing I don't agree with locking out of arenas. It's a great source of units, and with the refresh timers you're limited by how much arena you can do anyway, especially where 5 and 6* champs are concerned. If you're willing to spend units to refresh champs, its usually because you really want the champ.
