I don’t see a need for compensation y’all all like you haven’t ran multiple paths in one day for a side quest. Only reason they would give us compensation is if the people who abused the side quest got to keep the rewards
We can still earn the same number of keys. So this in no way will affect what rewards we can get from the event since we can still do the same number of runs. No compensation is needed.
I suggested tongue in cheek that it would be nice to have something thrown to obedient Summoners who didn’t exploit the quest in another thread.

If the team decided to generously give extra keys for the “inconvenience,” that’s a pure gratuity and not something we are entitled to. No one should expect it.
Compensation is the new rank down tickets. Kabam royally messed up with all the crazy compensation they have been giving and now we have to deal with this ****. I wish people would just ignore these threads and not reply, no matter how absurd. Just let it go!
The only 'compensation' or rather adjustment they could make is making the quest run for a little longer. So we still have the same amount of days to play the quest. You can still collect the keys and you can still do all the paths you want. So I really do not see te problem. Even if the map does take longer to make. You could choose to do everything in the last week, after you have completed all the event quests etc. So you still have something to do in that week.
Posts about compensation like these make posts where it might actually be needed less impactful. Would be better to just ask for it if it is actually deserved, which I feel this time around it is not.
I concur. I haven't even got a chance to play the side event at all. Compensation should be given to make up for lost time.
Its literally just the 3rd day of the update. I don't see how losing 10-15 mins a day to complete a few extra quests per day is a loss of time since you already spend so much of it on the forums.

How is this ridiculous and greedy? I'm not asking for them to give us a 6 star nexus and a T5CC Selector, just a few extra keys to do paths that are already in the event. And as a player, I was promised an event on a given date and it's still down due to their own faults, that alone warrants something.
No. You don't need compensation. You haven't lost anything by not doing the quest. You'll have plenty of time to complete the quest once it comes back. Stop with the entitlement.
I don't recall saying that I "need" the compensation, it's a suggestion. You should do some research into reading and comprehension, you seem to be lacking in that department.
You made a post about suggesting compensation. That in itself means you think we need it. If you didn't think we needed it, you wouldn't have posted it. So yes, you think we need it. We don't.
i've been told that those/everyone who repeated the paths will not have there rewards taken away so the compensation may be giving us all extra keys ike the the extra intel from the deadly origin rifts
You should probably read the sticky thread explaining the process. it clearly said in that post, all extra rewards would be taken. If they used 1 key to get 15 AG's, they get 14 taken away.
You haven't missed out on anything. Why should there be compensation for that? You can't tell me that the 3 days that this event has been down will impact your ability to get the most out of the event's rewards.
If the quest opens in 3 days, will you end up getting all the rewards in the coming 20-something days? My guess is yes. That goes for the vast majority of players too.
There is no egregious loss to compensate for.
Well actually, no, you won't get "all the rewards" given that there are more paths than there are keys, hence why what I suggested is giving out more keys. And sure there is no egregious loss, but typically when there is a delay in a game of this nature something is done as a way of showing that the developers actually care. Especially delays that were not scheduled or that were given prior notice of.

Under normal circumstances, yes, no extra keys. But you're missing the entire point of my post, which is to suggest that as a result of the delays they should let us do more paths. I'm obviously aware of the way it works currently. What part of that are you failing to understand?

There are 35 Keys, 28 Paths per difficulty. That has never and will never change. The days the event runs will not change this.
You will likely receive the exact same rewards as you would have had this event been active from day 1. The only difference is that you’ll need to run an extra path a few days throughout the month. That’s only 4 fights and shouldn’t be a big deal to add 16-20 fights over the course of 3+ weeks. Thus, compensation is unjust. Because, once again, you are not losing anything. You will get your full rewards.
Not sure if this has been discussed before, but I think it would be fitting if we were given some compensation for the extended delay of the side event. Not only do we not get to do the quest, but this also delays maps being made to determine what is in the various chests. In my opinion, giving all players extra Platinum Jones Locker's so that we can enter the quest more, especially since some paths require two keys, would be a nice way of saying sorry for this big mess.
