Alliance Members taking advantage of AQ

Hi Guys,
Hope everyone is doing great!

We at our alliance have been monitoring some strange behaviour among some members wherein they were joining AQ Maps after it has been 100% completed.
Our doubt was are they getting rewards without contributing towards to AQ and having no points or will they not be getting any rewards for the same?


Do let me know the facts for these if anyone can because it'll definitely help us in taking action against selfish members who try to get easy rewards without contributing towards anything.

They'll get the rewards. We had some members on holiday and we told them to at least log in 1 time a day quickly to get the rewards

I'm pretty sure they'll get them. kick them with no remorse. we've had some freeloaders and I was happy to kick them

Is not really a problem. If you're an a less serious alliance that plays low to mid tiers of Alliance Quest, is normal to see someone joining after the map has been 100% completed.

It helps to set rules for alliance membership, whatever you want those rules to be, and then enforce them as needed. Also, when recruiting, be clear about these rules so it is not a surprise.

Are you short players in all BG's, and those people end up just joining the 100% BG's instead of joining another BG that still has some work to do ??

Do you have assigned BG's where maybe they feel that if they go against that directive and join a different one that still needs help that they will be chastised for taking away someone else’s spot in that other BG ??

Are they missing from other days where you HAVE NOT reached 100%, and so could have actually helped ??

Or are you just mad at them for not joining sooner, before the others have been able to reach 100% with maybe only 7/8/9 people ??

So, do you feel that nobody should ever join AQ if you are already 100%. That is pretty selfish. If some people can’t get in until later on (or waiting until they free up their top attackers from an individual quest) before joining, maybe to ensure they can have a Boss killer available for them if needed before the end of AQ, why should they be penalized just because your Ally is good enough to get 100% in very fast time.

Sounds like you would also like reward amounts to be based on how many “Points” each person racks up in AQ too.

If it happens occasionally, it's no big deal. Maps 1-4 can be completed in half the day, easily; so if you're late, you might miss it.

If it happens regularly, particularly in higher tier maps, it might be time to say goodbye.

It sure helps to maintain certain rules in the Alliance.. Thanks to everyone who contributed. We are trying hard to grow so had to clarify this issue.

If you’re chill and aren’t really fussed leave them in but if you’ve got members spending items to complete you need to have a chat with them

Yes thats actually the problem, The other active members are trying hard and spending items to get the map cleared in time because not everyone joins and contributes towards the same.
