With so many people frustrated by the randomness of solo events due to waiting for level up events it is evident we are getting too many rank up resources and champions, Kabam needs to slow down.
Like, wtf?! It's been over one week since we saw level up. Is this deliberate? I'd like believe it is. I've got 2 6*s to level up, a rank 5 5* to level up, a new 5* champ toe level up, some new 4*s to level up, and another 5* to level up all the way from rank 1 to 3!
Sometimes level up is a few days apart, sometimes it’s over a week between level up. This is not new, and anyone who has played game for over a month shouldn’t be surprised by this.
As much as I like Level Up (easy L1 revive and 25 units), what I’d really like to see is a rework of Event Quest Completion. In my opinion, it is the least desirable of the 22h solo events, since the way event point scoring is scaled and counted makes hitting milestones cumbersome.
For example, the final milestone requires 34K points, but the largest point award is for running Master EQ 3.2 and gives out 2.5K points per run. That would require ~14 runs of 3.2 EQ over a 22 hour period (or some comparable set of runs of 3.1 plus 3.2 EQ). Not likely to happen for the prizes currently offered, and for 10+ refills burned in a day, those prizes would need to get exponentially better.
The fact that the points scale only to Master levels also seems like a holdover to MCoC from years past—we have UC and Cav now, which should award more points. Why they don’t is a mystery.
If I could redesign, I would scrap it altogether. If the goal is to provide a solo companion to alliance Completion, it fails pretty miserably.
I’d rather see points awarded for beating champs in quests (with more points rewarded for higher rarity opponents). The event could use specific class or hashtag champs for further challenge—maybe something like “Mutant Quest Challenge” or “#Avengers Quest Challenge.” 6* opponents in quests who fit those parameters would award more than 5*, etc.
Whatever the redesign, top milestones should be achievable for players without having to bank a dozen energy refills. The current requirement is crazy.
Or maybe I’m in the minority here and everyone loves Event Quest Completion...

Exactly. No one cares when Event Quest is missing because it is objectively the worst of the events. But God forbid that you only get ONE level up event in a week, the forums start losing their collective smooth brain.
