Leader and Officer Appreciation Day

Kabam, you realize how much work alliance leaders and officers put into the game? There should really be a leader and officer appreciation day where they get extra goods or members can gift items to them. It’s such a thankless task and most people don’t appreciate the time it takes to run a stable alliance. It can truly be like an unpaid job. Come on, Kabam. Show alliance leaders and officers some love! (And I’m no longer an officer because it’s thankless work).

Y’all must be in bad alliances. The amount of work my ally leader and officers so is crazy. Yes, it’s optional, but without “voluntary” players busting their tails to make the game function, it wouldn’t be what it is. Kabam should at least recognize that point.

Hypothetically, you can have a crazy leader, who makes everyone set alarms for wars and use line. Or you can have a chill leader who asks people to just have fun. Both could be in plat 4, meaning they both contribute the same to the game, but one doesn't care as much about winning. It doesn't really mean much if you work harder voluntarily. That doesn't give free rewards.

Valid point. If gifting badges weren’t abused like they were in the past, I’d give items freely to my leader and officers who carry the weight of my alliance.

Just when you thought you've seen it all on the forums, out comes this craziness. Mind blown lol.

As a leader of an ally for the past 4 months I gotta say that sometimes it can feel overwhelming but it's our choice to do it. Personally I really enjoy it, to grow with others and achieve various ranks and milestones is fun and rewarding in itself. To become a gaming "crew" if you will.

If anything I think would be cool if we (as leaders) could gift members/officers items for all their hard work and effort. After all without them there would be no alliance.

Technically, you gift them glory and war rewards with your hard work. Personally I can't imagine being a leader of an alliance. I just can't plan things but other people are amazing at it.

It's thankless and also voluntary, and completely optional.

    No, no and no!

Do leaders and officers put in a little more time/effort than regular members? If they’re doing it right, then yes.

But it is 100% optional. When you become a leader or officer, you CHOOSE to do this. From what I’ve seen, it’s mostly driven by ego and sense of self worth but there should never be a scenario when leaders and officers are given additional rewards.

As a leader myself, this thread is ridiculous!!!

If you want to show appreciation as a member of an alliance, all you have to do is
    - Do your job in AQ and war
    - Participate in alliance events
    - Hit the help button as much as you can

All these things not only show appreciation, but helps ALL members of the alliance!

    That help button tho...

So then all the bad and worthless leaders and officers can get something extra as well? Nah, pass.

Leader and officers already have many good things such as power to kick members so instead of gift, I suggest we should cut down their rewards which alliances earn from AQ and AW, for example if members get 5000 glory, leader only get 2500 and officers get 3000.

It's fairer and I believe everyone agree with me, including Kabam.

    Nope, I do not agree

Idk, there’s this one reallly pushy officer in my ally who also annoys me on forums. Not sure I’d gift him anything.

I just want to make fun of this thread. I don't actually mean that.

Always put a disclaimer after your jokes, a sarcastic statement on the forums won't sound sarcastic because it is a written text message and not an audio message where auditory clues can be picked up and the statement inferred as one being lighthearted and sarcastic in nature.

Another way of expressing sarcasm in text is to blow things out of proportion and/or express an extremely crude brand of self-entitlement in your texts, try that and see how it works

Let the insightfuls roll in 😂😂
