I watched seatins video and it didn't look "very hard". Seems similar to fighting Mojo and his sp1 seems pretty easy to deal with. Looks like a fair challenge. I'll find out tomorrow, I'm tired from work
He’s not hard, I’ve done exploration now, but my first run was awful. Watch a ton of videos before you go in. Get used to the structure of the fight, the timing of the SP1, the challenges, etc.
Then bring in a high DPS champ to get it done. You can ramp up Aegon on all 6 paths, he was my MVP for the last 5 runs. He actually made the fight a really fun experience.
If you go in unprepared, with a low DPS champ, you’ll bleed units.
Use someone who has a wide variety of things they can do. A versatile champ. With skill most decent champs can do GM. Ægon is a great option for him. Nick did wonders for me.
Phase 1 is basicly 3 challenges - Parry (do this till he says parry banned then dont parry again till he does sp1) - Dexterity ( same as parry) - Light Attack ( same as parry)
He will throw a sp1 which there are 3 Icons Blue is Block Red is dont do anything Green is Dex
After a sp1 on phase 1 he will get weakend
For each challenge done you get a compendance increasing your attack
Phase 2 has different challenges just read it and do it ( Have to do 5 challenges to weaken him for good damage. He is stunned when weakened)
Note challenges from phase 1 like parry etc doesnt matter meaning that if he is in phase 2-4 you can fight normal and just di the challenges that pop up.
Phase 3 Basicly same challenges as phaae 2
Examples are like Knock down GM , Inflict a damage debuff etc
Phase 4 is when he is on 1% HP. Basicly he is Passive unstoppable and unblockable. You gotta hold out for I think 18 seconds but if u take path i said its like 6 seconds or so. then he is perma stunned and you.can kill him with sp3.
Note if you fail 3 or 5 challenges he goes insta sp3 and you are dead.
I just beat this man for the first time yesterday. Only reason he was a problem is because I absolutely suck with reversed controls. But he's a super fun fight. If you have skill and a solid understanding of the game, you shouldn't have too much of a problem.
I have to say, I think the reverse controls were unnecessary. It’s not really even a skill thing, it’s about how your brain is wired. Some people just really struggle with them.
Without reverse controls, the fight would be perfect.

If you don't know how to handle rev controls that deep in act 6, something is wrong

If you can’t handle the reverse controls and take hits just bring in bwcv and use sp2 in bleed phase while he’s wounded and heal to full.

I’ve explored everything in the game 100%, I can handle it, I just don’t like it. I find it an unnecessary gimmick.

That I agree with. But atleast GM is the best actual skill based fight in game so, take what you can get I guess
My first and second run sucked. I spent a lot. Third 4th 5th and sixth were the best for me, blew through him. I went in blind from run 1 when he first launch to my second run months later

Take the cosmic path. Only tough fight is annhilus and I think aarkus but doom easily does the path.
Grandmasters abilities are broken down for his % HP.
Did this a looong time ago but i think its something like
100% - 69% Phase 1
69% - 29% Phase 2
29%-1% Phase 3
1% Phase 4

- Parry (do this till he says parry banned then dont parry again till he does sp1)

He has 9.7m HP

Soon you will solo him just for fun.
