Auto rewards lower than map total?

So, I used 55 energy to auto play Mutant Mayhem in Expert, and that only got me 760 catalyst fragments, but the map says I should get 1800 (540 completion + 1260 exploration). Is that supposed to work like that? Because if it is then auto is pointless.

    Yes, if you want to save time by pressing 1 button instead of traveling/playing the quest, the energy and # of cats+fragments is different (also doesn’t count towards fights for various Events).

    Tier-1 is worth it for both Basic and Class.
    Tier-2 is worth it on one of them and sort of equivalent on the other.
    Tier-3 and Tier-4 are not worth it.

    its not pointless. If you want rewards without work you get less rewards. You can go in still and get more after.
