Also quit pretending Wolvie is a tank. The regen is great but his base health is quite low. He can be one hit KO'd, as you found out the hard way. Quite posturing like you fought a legendary fight. Suck it up buttercup.
You should have taken a pic of the battle. Showing what your 40 hits vs her 1. Maybe your argument would have been better. Regardless you took a chance pushing her to sp3 and paid the consequences
Have to bait it out or use a power drainer next time.
How high is your asassin mastery? I noticed many AI changes a few months ago and this one I call the suck out factor. Before I had assasin ranked up I noticed a lot of my deaths were when the AI had a tick of health left like that, that AI played better and would hang on when it was almost dead. Since I put a few levels in asassin I haven't seen it happen to me as much.
In regards to this I would say it was crit related, I don't understand the Pi system sometimes as I have 7k plus 4/55 champs that sometimes will die in one combo from an 8k champ that takes me 50 hits to kill, I can understand that sometimes they take long to kill as they have high armour build but then how is their Pi still within 10% of mine when they clearly have much much higher armour and attack than me
What explanation is needed? Do you not know how the game works? She has a thing called a base attack, the higher that is, the more damage she does. Her special 3 is when the bar on the bottom becomes red, it does a lot of damage, and you can't avoid it, since her base attack is high, it took away all of your base health, which you need to keep fighting.
OP, your pic doesn't show an I3 animation starting with your champ at full health and then another pic of you dead at the end of the animation. Your pic just demonstrates you lost the fight. There's no proof you even took an I3 from psylocke
Not pictured: actual number of hits in fight or what those 2 node buffs are. Everything ventured by any commentator is pure conjecture, like the comments immediately above.
@Jabbawokky All the "he said, she said" stuff aside, I can understand your concept of "the perfect fight" and have no reason to nor feel the need to question the validity of your stated scenario.
From our general knowledge and the basic #'s we're provided detailing damage, armor, crit., etc...... Its my opinion that for a majority of us, new or veteran, have less than marginal knowledge and actual calculations of how all of it comes together in a single fight. Which would leave a big gap for "no f'ing way"! situations to slip through.
If we recorded x amount of fights between the exact same champs and slowmo'd to log every type of successful hit and the points that they registered, I wouldn't be surprised to find out that we'd never get consistent identical results. Its a part of the game we just have to "trust" really. Does it suck ass? Yes. Do we let it go and move on? Yes , for me anyway because if I dont, I lose the "fun" I have with the game.
Regardless of a "perfect fight", the end result was a loss. My suggestion would be to not let it consume you to the point of only having "tunnel vision". I'm sure the results will be in your favor next time round.
BTW, this has happened to me a handful of times against punisher. Fight is going well and as I've got his hp and my power meter to the point of an SP3 game finisher. Trigger it, and after animation, his meter is full and triggers immediately. Bye bye Wok! LOL. KO screen shows 1hp for him. Really?? The points generated by my atks deducted perfectly to leave him with 1hp? Multiple times? They couldnt write in a code or something to the effect of deathblow atk points short of x hp is given a bonus x amount of atk points or something? LOL
If I can find a SS of it I'll post for your amusement.
sometimes an L3 on day one of AQ is different from L3 on say day 4/5.. the prestige increases and so does the difficulty. if your gambling with an L3 then its not a perfect fight....
I think we can all settle on one thing: Do not even try to gamble at the last second.
There were times I was like: "Hey, the opponent is so close to dying, they'll probs die before they even get to 3 bars" and when I did that, there were a few occasions where I totally underestimated the amount of health left and got whacked with an L3.
Ever since those occasions, I have learned to be "better safe than sorry". Unless you can be 110% sure that continuing your assault on the opponent will kill them and prevent them from getting L3, it is much better to be safe and try to bait out their special attack instead of gambling 10000 hp from your champ.
I hate fightingpsylocke, i also take that path at the far right and i also have a rank 5 wolvie but i dont use him against her,her animations make it hard for me to parry her. i just use my rank 3 5star hulk . That node is 100percent health node so taking risk of an l3 is never a good decision. i dont know about the one shot l3 kill but psylocke hits preety hard.

It's day 4 of map 5 and if she had psi charges they drain 20% power per w/ power burn. I'm guessing you had full 3 bars using Wolvie.

The fact that you're asking us why you died to an L3 when you're far enough into the game that you are doing day 4 map 5 truly amazes me.

SP3's do this thing called "A LOT OF DAMAGE"
i highly recommend not letting the opponent getting to an SP3, as it can 1 shot you (as your original example has shown).
also, if you want people to take you seriously, stop calling everyone names
"How is it possible that my full health 4* 5/50 wolvie got KO'd from a L3 5* awakened 4/25-55?"
SPECIAL 3
Psionic Knife Strike
Psylocke focuses all of her power into a single psychic blade, plunging into her opponent’s brain.
This does sound rather deadly though.
Best quote to follow
I know it sucks dying but it's typical in AQ.
It happens

I lost Wolverine (close to full HP) twice that way.
