4 Star relevance

I know this has to have been mentioned a million and 1 times lol! But are 4* champs still relevant? If not then are there at least some 4*s that are necessary for certain Quests?

Yes, especially with defender diversity and not all champs are available as 5*. Lee me know when you have a full roster of 5* for aq, aw, and quests that are better than your 4*. Only then will they become irrelevant

My 5 stars tend to be more irrelevant than my 4 stars since most are waiting for dupes to be useful.
SW, DS, Thor, Wolvie, OG DD, and a few others aren't even around as 5 stars and are great for certain aspects.

Quite relevant. Will be so to most players even after 6* champs release. I would still be careful ranking them to r5 though, and make sure you will use them for a long time.

Still relevant to me, I have 10 5* including awakened SL at rank 3.
None of my 5* are in my questing, AW attack or AQ teams

4*s are still power houses imo. They'll definitely still be relevant after 6* releases. Why? Because 5* crystals doesn't cost 2K 5* shards. They're still rare as ever. Will the shards be more available? Yes but clearly 10K shards. Still pretty rare.

But I think CB is (or will be) available as a 5, so your choice to rank him might suck if you pull a 5 star.
I wouldn't r5 any 4 star that was good unduped without being prepared to regret it.

They are relevant, but the introduction of more 5*'s has put most players in a tight spot: rank up the useful 4* (like Haji's CB) to clear difficult content now, or hang on until that same 4* (or something better) drops out as a 5* for you. Given the needs of the game, I think most players do what Haji did, but that poses the potential for regret down the road (especially if there aren't RDTs).

Others, like myself, sit in a holding pattern: I will wait until I see what direction the game is taking because I have potentially great 5*'s waiting for a dupe, and I don't want to burn resources on 4*'s unless I'm certain they will help me clear content. The risk for me is that I never dupe the 5* and items start to expire before I can use them. Or, frankly, that I lose interest in the game completely while waiting.

Your question is a valid one. I don't think the game team really understands the predicament. They blithely post about how resources will be more available and trot out high dollar offers to support that contention. They claim there's no reason to worry about 6*'s and then back door 5* block penetration into 5.3. And they wreck AW by turning it into a Item Use contest but don't significantly boost the rewards. So you have ample reason to be concerned about the viability of 4*'s.

4* are still backbone
I did my labyrinth and act5 till now with 4* only and i must say they are very handy
5* are good but you don't always have required 5* so it's 4* who do the work
Further a 5/50 4* and 3/45 5* are same.

Thanks a million guys.. But one more thing will satisfy me Lol! I wanna know specifically who should I rank up for Labyrinth of Legends & Act 5? I have 10 4* champs at 5/50 currently and they are: SW, SL, GP, NC, Iceman, Yondu, Ultron, Magik, Hulk, & Thor. Should I rest on them or is there a particular champ missing that is useful for Act 5 and Labyrinth?

I would also say that some it's going to be good for a while to have both the 4* and 5* versions. Magik and Hulk both come to mind here...
