The chances of them banning people who ran though it when they woke up is small, since the game starts things at different times it is easy to miss the starting time. Equally small if you ran it only 2x. The question really comes in after multiple runs when you notice it is giving unlimited crystal shards.
Doesn't matter, they set the precedent last month for playing events and getting rewards earlier than intended. If a ban comes, and i hope it does, it will just reinforce that the player base needs to pay more attention to the release notes and be aware of when things are supposed to go live!
No, last month they banned ppl who ran it 3+ times. Nothing to do with running it early.
According to the in-game message (30th September) for LIMBO QUESTS "you can grind to your dark hearts content to gain Lost Souls and Skeleton Keys" but you should only get Monsters and Hunters Crystal Shards once a day. So they said in the announcement that you can grind for keys to your heart's content. I've used a full refill and done 5 runs. Yes, I have shards I shouldn't, but we can't even buy the crystals yet so won't Kabam just remove shards before the crystal goes live? No excuse if they ban for this one.
Where do the shards go to? I dont see them from the crystal view or from inventory. The keys go into inventory. The lost souls goes into resource summary. I can't find the shards.
Kabam are literally such in irresponsible company, this exact same scenario happens again and let me guess they're gonna take the easy route and instead of accepting responsibility for their actions of not making sure everything was working as intended before releasing the side quest they will just say it's the players fault and go on another banning spree. It also says in that same announcement that shards cant be farmed so why did you not stop after you got shards on the second run? After what happened last month you deserve a ban
Yeah after re-reading the description of the quest it seems like we're only meant to be able to run each difficulty once.
However the bug is allowing people to run all difficulties as many times as they like.
It can't be intended because it also rewards you an extra key. Please fix this kabam and either remove extra keys and shards from accounts that have run it more than once or compensate others.
At this point just having clarification of whether it even is a bug would be great.
You guys realise the shard crystals aren't even available yet? So Kabam can easily adjust the shards before then. I don't see why we can't run it if Kabam have chosen to release it already.
