Incursion Chat still bugged??

I thought this was meant to be fixed in a patch ages ago, but Incursion chats are still bugged. I would be pressing the prompts in quick chat and typing custom messages but nothing was going through, and I couldn't receive anything from my incursion mate either. Really makes it hard to want to embark on the massive investment of time that Incursions are when you don't know if you'll even be able to communicate with your partner.

For reference, I'm playing on an iPhone 11 with the most recent iOS, and most recent version of the game.
