Why do people like venom? (Actual question, not a criticism)

I started playing in 2016 and have left and come back twice at this point and was wondering why do people like venom and regard him as a good champion? It could have just been that I didn’t know people liked him in the past but from my knowledge this is a decently new thing. So if someone could explain why he’s good and when this change happened, if there was a change, that would be appreciated.

Bleed damage, spider verse evade counter, sp1 nullify-regen, sp2 convert all buffs to fury buff which increases his damage, True Strike when opponent is below 18% (imo best IMIW counter), can get indefinite Armor Up buff (Havok counter).
I ranked mine up back when prevailing wisdom was that he was just above average. Never regretted ranking him up, and when Incursions came along Venom became the gift that keeps on giving. He seems to get better with time, not obsolete over time.
I’ll add to this:
Unblockable on specials when the opponent is under 18% health
Armor break on heavy.
+15% bleed accuracy against hero champs
Cannot be power burned or drained by tech champs
+5% increased attack per buff on L3
Also he plays very smooth, his L3 has epic animations, and he’s a badass character. What more do you want?
He has good damage
He’s extremely fun to play animation wise
He has a few other pieces of utility as well that are slightly more niche
That should be enough in and of itself.
So what you want to do is get him high sig (Not required)
There are lots of different ways to play venom. Number 1 I call the buff killer! Number 2 I call the buff hoarder! Number three I call the raw damage!
Number 1 is mostly wanted to be used in matches with lots of buffs. Because On the special 1 venom gets rid of buffs from the opponent and gives himself regeneration. So you can use this as an advantage and you will almost always be at full in fights such as Colossus fights. As you know probably Colossus gets armors buffs these can't be armor broken but they ca in fact be om nomed. This helped me in act 5.2.4. There was a Colossus that I completely nuked with Venom. I came out of that match up at full health.
Number 2 is the buff hoarder. This allows you to get 7 buffs that are permanent. With the green goblin synergy 8 buffs. If you don't know venoms buffs they are listed here: Fury, Armor, Cruelty, Precision, and physical resistance.
I like on offense to have at least 3 fury, 3 precisions, and 2 cruelty. This is done by the green goblin synergy. Every crtical hit gives bleed. You can stack these buffs by not using a special 2. WARNING IF SPECIAL 2 IS USED ALL BUFFS WILL BE TURNED INTO FURY BUFFS.
Number 3 is raw damage. This strategy allows you to get... well raw damage. This strategy makes you use a special two. Then when you use it...
abilities of venom:
Can't be evaded by spider verse
during the last 18 percent of the defenders health venom gains true strike and his special attacks are all unblockable
his buffs are potent
regen
