Aloha!
Our semi-retirement home for oldies who are into bingo, fancy dentures and holy Neil Diamond is looking for a few like-minded semi-retired folks.
Here is why you should consider it:
# Because currently, solo content has better rewards than (most) alliance stuff, and having champs available helps plow through it faster.
# Because the thought of the next Platinum Stubborn war made you wet the bed, and your partner is looking at you weirdly in the AM.
# Because you have finally realized what an awful drag it actually is to have to login to clear an AQ node or to check if yours is (finally!) cleared, while your working from home, with two kids jumping on your toys-riddled kitchen table / improvised work station.
# Because logging in to clear a node, means you rush putting the kid(s) to bed. And/or making love. And/or walking the dog. And/or finishing a project/book/speech/movie. And/or scratching an itch.
# Because you have been ‘lead’ forever, and don’t look THAT much forward to spend 10+ hours a week Excelling defense and 5 more to chase guys (m/f) who are either hungover or working on it.
# Because you want the game to be a game again. E.g. fun.
Here is what we offer:
# One BG war, basically item and obligation free – placing defense or attacking is much appreciated. But not a must. We run it for fun, to have a reason to complain about lag and each other, and to keep in touch.
# One BG map 2 AQ. Which can be run solo. And sometimes is. With epic modifiers. No need to participate. Won't lock-in champs.
# A group of roughly 15 like-minded players (sitting at 13 now; some move in and out, depending on AW and AQ appetite) from Europe and east coast US.
# Knowledge and advise: we are experienced. Some did Abyss. Some are Breakers of Thrones, or well on their way.
# A fair bit of rewards for very little effort.
# Active Line group. Which you can also stay out of. You'd miss out on the latest news about the merits of font wheeled walkers and incontinence meds, but your loss!
Here is what you need to bring:
# Decent 9k-ish prestige.
# Willing and able to place halfway decent war defenders sometimes and/or fight a few fairly low level (no tiers 6 and up) wars.
# A time-zone that aligns with ours a little.
# The ability to beatbox Love on the Rocks.
