I had some spare keys that I was able to trade for the crystals but I had basically every soul available all month left over, didnt use any and did all difficulties every day of the limbo quest. The rewards aren't amazing but they have use. Its just annoying they didn't even let us cash them in. The announcement about trading in keys came after they removed the souls so basically no chance to use them. I didn't use them for extra keys I didn't need because I expected the souls to be converted not unused keys.

Exactly... We didn't know anything about the souls disappearing like that.

So, today, I was looking how much Gamma I had, and I noticed that I now have 86 skeleton keys?

Can't sell them, but, there is a limit of 15 to use, so what do you do with the rest of them?

*edit.. wait, it says for TODAY? Does that mean, everyday we can get 15?

    Still no response from Kabam...

I put in a support ticket and got this response. I still disagree and asked for escalation.

    Hello Summoner,

Thanks for contacting Kabam Support regarding souls not being converted to keys to be used to purchase Souled Out Crystals.

I apologize for any inconvenience. The message that was sent out was worded a bit oddly, but the intention was that the Skeleton Keys would become the keys used for purchasing crystals, while the souls just lost their enchantment and would not count towards purchasing Souled Out Crystals. The conversion happened as intended, so there is nothing to fix or change here.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us again.

No, this is not okay. They mislead customers. They made a mistake, not the players!

I'm usually on the side of kabam but that is ridiculous and should be addressed in game and via the forums. I didn't buy keys because I assumed the souls would be converted into something or used to buy special keys.

same here! I always defend Kabam and never ask for unreasonable compensation, etc. turns out with a limit of 15, I did rather OK with 11 using my extra keys without the additional souls but I feel bad for everyone else.

That's ridiculous. I came here because I couldn't figure out where the souled out crystals were in the store. So I find out they're not in the store, they're in the crystals tab, okay, bad wording but they're there. But now I find out the souls weren't converted into anything even though they said they would be?! Their wording is not confusing or ambiguous, it is ABSOLUTELY CLEAR that the souls would be converted into skeleton keys! So this means I could've bought keys with souls and had more skeleton keys now if they hadn't lied in their explanation and are now refusing to honor the promise. Utterly ridiculous.
