Hey everyone, this is probably a bad question. But anyways, why does AW defence placement start at 8:00 for me and AW attack starts at 4:00? Is placement shorter than attack or something?

    Yes, matchmaking first begins 4 hours into what is considered the starting time for AW (can Enroll up until that time).
    Once matched, you have 20 hours to place Defense.
    And Attack gets full 24 hours next day.

    Basically those 4 hours are used to find an appropriate match for everyone who's enlisted. Don't know why it takes that long when I'm sure it's done by a computer algorithm but it isn't much of an inconvenience.
