That's not what the announcement means. I believe they said that last year as well, and the reason was because in years past there were different sales on Black Friday and Cyber Monday, so Kabam was warning people that the four day weekend sale wasn't going to have new stuff showing up later in the weekend. They are saying this year, like last year, the sales you see on Friday are the only sales they are putting up. However, players with different progressions will see different sales.

If it works like it has in the past, if you change progression you will see the sale appropriate to your new progression point. But that sale didn't change, you did. If you go from being Uncollected to Cavalier you will start seeing the Cavalier sales, but those Cavalier sales didn't change, they were always there, just gated to Cavalier players.

Plus, this is a ridiculous complaint. If they lock the deals, its Kabam trying to get people to spend more. But when they don't lock the deals, that's *also* Kabam trying to get people to spend more.

Maybe, just maybe, if no matter what the company does you feel pressure to spend more, the problem isn't with the game.

That's not what they meant. They mean that the bundles presented for a given progression won't change. Basically saying without saying that it doesn't matter if you buy early or wait to the last minute. The Thronebreaker deals on Friday will be the same on Monday, Cav deals on Friday will be the same on Monday, etc.

You have people out there who have dumped thousand of units into the champion fight to get uncollected for example.

If your sitting there on the cusp of the next progression level and you see that message it could encourage you to spend to make it.

And to assume Kabam wouldn't want to push people to spend money is so adorable.

it doesn't mean what you think it means. Altered means changing the original. They aren't going to change the deals because people complain about them etc..
