Grounded, I think you're jelaus of seatin, cos obviously you're only big in the forums always taking kabams side. So don't reply to my posts, you're not qualified enough.
1. Please don't talk like that to important members of our community 2. GroundedWisdom doesn't always take Kabam's side. They speak their opinions, and that is all
This months has been positive overall, id give it a 8/10, but they really missed the mark with the 6* shards arena and the awful handling of it on the forums.
As someone above said, kabam biggest problem has always been communication and that has not changed much. Most of the outrage since thanksgiving could have been easily avoided with some basic communication skill.
Like I care who wisdom is, every time I read his posts, he's on kabam's payroll, so I'll post what I think it is, just cos a handfull of you won't admit that one man like Seatin made the movement, that's your problem.
So just because someone has a different opinion to yours they’re ‘on Kabam’s payroll’?
People have the right to be upset though? Who are you to tell people what to do anything. "Its literally nothing" "toughen up" can be said about anything, and generally it isn't the right answer. If people are angry, there is a cause to it. If many people are angry, it is likely that the cause is very obvious and real. If you don't understand why other people are upset, you should try to understand why, not tell them to stfu.
ex. say some city happened to ban red hair. So red haired people had to die their hair to a different color. These people were mad. You could tell them that "it isn't that bad" and tell them that the city isn't like REALLY persecuting them like the city did before back when it was super racist. But that's obviously flawed right? Because those angry people have the right to be angry. If you don't have red hair, or if you have red hair but don't have a problem dying, that doesn't mean you should try to stop these people. They have freedom of speech and thought!
If I apply that analogy, you have no idea what situation these angry people are in. Maybe they're frustrated from November's deal and this arena was the straw that broke the camel's back. Maybe they didn't like the way Kabam handled the situation, which was initially just telling people that there is no problem and closing the forum, showing a lack of interest in communicating, which they have seen so many times over the years and have been tired of. Maybe they're frustrated that the side event quest didn't give out enough rank up materials. The point is, you don't know.
You think its great? Good for you! I, and I think most people will appreciate that. But the way you're saying "we should reflect on ourselves" is literally in fact "I think you should reflect on yourselves" right? You're trying to say that people are ungrateful. But why do they have to be grateful of a videogame as a customer? Do you feel grateful when a barber gives you a bad haircut? Do you just think "oh its better than what I could have done" ? If you do, sure. But if someone else gets mad, that's okay too.

If you think Seatin made the movement, you're sorely mistaken. A lot of YTbers, famous ones at that posted about the problems in the game roughly around the same time. Seatin did play a major role, but it's very disrespectful to others to not give them their due credit too.
I said that we acted harshly when true calendar came out and people lost their minds. The level of entitlement is truly unprecedented.
Then ask yourself, are most of the people who are entitled free-to-play or do they spend $? If nobody spends then the game goes away. Simple as that.
I will say that Kabam has communicated poorly on many issues this month. They’ve rolled out a lot of good things but there is a little regression in terms of communication and prioritization of information.
Regardless, the response that occurred over the 2 week calendar was completely juvenile, spoiled and unjustifiably self entitled.
The contest should have evolved way more at this point and these freebies are the only thing that put a smile on some of the summoner's faces. Before they release stuff they should at least review and test it , but time and again Kabam does not. People's anger is justified.
Although I do not think screaming here in the forums here is a solution to that. People were anticipating a good surprise though , emotions can run violent over here that's why its out of control and that's why its a forum.

I don’t believe that’s all there is to the calendar. There are shannanigans afoot.

tldr. Freedom of speech.
