6* Featured vs. Basic

So I've got 30k 6* shards and I'm debating going for 2 featureds instead of 3 basics. Right now, I only have 4 6 stars, and I know most people say to build your roster up more before going for featured, but honestly all 4 of my current 6*s are complete trash, and I'd rather just have had one good 6*. Do you guys think I should risk it for the 2 featured 6* and hope to get at least one good one or just go for basics?

After i saw what my alliance pulled from basics i really recommend going for featured .

I'm at a point where I think of 6 stars as pre-ranked 5 stars as their power-level is equivalent to a r4/55 5 star. Most of the pool in the basic is trash and I only open 6 stars looking for a somewhat enjoyable champ to test and use so that I won't have to rank them up later. If you want to build-up your roster, then go for it or else just open the featured's as the new featured is so spicy that you will probably get something better from them.

In the past I've 100% been on the you should go for basics if you don't have a very deep six star roster but this featured is so good I honestly think it's a better crystal for people who particularly don't have many six star champions.

70% of the champions in there are in my opinion rank 2 worthy as a six star and probably 25% of them are rank 3 worthy. That is so much insanely better than the basics, the odds alone justify the extra 5k shards

This new feature is really great. Normally I'd say build your roster, but the feature has a lot of great champs. Pop the features.

I'm at 60 6* champs. I'm going all in on this next feature. I need newer great 6* champs. I have enough R5 5* at this point. I don't even want to rank up some great ones that I have.

Quality over quantity. There are too many good champs in the next featured to pass it up, even the misses are better than most of the trash in the basic.

Plus, I'm pretty sure AA and guardian are gonna be added to the basics as well.

I don't know how your experience with basics has been, but I'm at 29 6* and Ive been shafted so hard in my last dozen to the point that Im afraid to open basics. I think the chance to get someone at least useable is way better in this featured where as the basic pool has around a 50% chance of getting a complete dud.

Why is this even a question.
The basic had a much higher chance to pull a champ you won't be using or what that has maybe one or two there. But it's still a high chance at trash.

The featured on the other hand is full of top champs with a much higher chance at pulling a champ you will be using in content regularly.

It has to be the featured for me.
You may even pull a rank 3 worthy champ which some end game players don't even have, essentialy making you not need to worry about needing a good champs for TB

Featured is a better bet, but it's not a guarantee either. The basics have so many bad champs, it's gotten to the point that Kabam have committed to buffing almost 40 champs in 2021. Unless you're a hardcore arena grinder then quality over quantity every day.

Yah I would agree with this. I'd say there's more disappointment possible because 2 bad 6* vs 3 bad 6*

In the new featured there's still a 25-30% chance of getting a dud, but in the basic there is over a 50% chance. After my last 5 pulls from basic being abomb, rhino, sentry, jugs and superior iron man, I'd rather just risk the extra 3-5k shards for a better shot.
