Ngl I don't really care TOO much, but Cav difficulty is around the level of 6.1, so we should be getting rewards closer to that.
How are they not close to 6.1? You think Cav difficulty needs 2-3 5* rank up gems and 1.5 mil in gold every month? MEQ for Cav gives pretty identical rewards other than the rank up gem. Plus the MEQ gives 6* sig stones. So Kabam needs to remove those to make it like 6.1?
I mean sure, but I think even for a Cav difficulty it’s easy. Compare it to the relative difficulty when UC released. It’s not even close.
I'm curious, because I can't actually remember, but how longer after 5.2 was UCEQ introduced, and same for 6.1 and Cav EQ. I'm only asking since that might be a factor as to why there's such a difference in difficulty between when they originally released.
It may give some reasoning between the disparity or it might make it more obvious that the tuning is weird.

5.2 was June 2017 and first UC EQ was Dec that year

So about 6 months.
It was about 18 months from 6.1 to first Cav EQ.
The point from @Rockypantherx about the difficulty of UCEQ at first, compared to Cav EQ at first can most likely be explained by that. The difference between times of title release and respective equivalent EQs is so long, that of course the UCEQ felt harder when it first released. Not to mention, the content may have increased in difficulty, but the power of the champs released in 2017 compared to what we've had in 2019 and 2020 is massively different.
The content difficulty isn't the core issue, but rather the power scaling and what we've come to expect top champs to be able to do is probably a larger issue, and honestly is the main cause of this weird power scaling and feeling of difficulty.
I can't give any solutions to this, because it would probably cause a war on the forums, but I feel like it's a lose lose situation for Kabam and the players.
Rather than buffing the rewards, Thronebreaker Difficulty should be introduced. Cav EQ is already easy and buffing the rewards will only create an inflation that will delay the release of TB Difficulty.
