**WINTER OF WOE - BONUS OBJECTIVE POINT**
As previously announced, the team will be distributing an additional point toward milestones to anyone who completed the Absorbing Man fight in the first step of the Winter of Woe.
This point will be distributed at a later time as it requires the team to pull and analyze data.
The timeline has not been set, but work has started.
There is currently an issue where some Alliances are are unable to find a match in Alliance Wars, or are receiving Byes without getting the benefits of the Win. We will be adjusting the Season Points of the Alliances that are affected within the coming weeks, and will be working to compensate them for their missed Per War rewards as well.

Additionally, we are working to address an issue where new Members of an Alliance are unable to place Defenders for the next War after joining. We are working to address this, but it will require a future update.

What are the 3 best comic runs/events/trades in general

For me...

1. HoX PoX going into Dawn of X (I love Hickman in particular although i really enjoyed Marauders and Fallen Angels)
2. Matt Fraction’s Hawkeye (wow, go read it if you haven’t already!)
3. DMZ by Brian Wood (In places dark and violent (not suitable for under 16s imo)) This is available as a compendium which i would recommend.

Please leave your own faves below and i would love to hear what you think of my picks. Have a great day!

    1. Immortal Hulk
    2. Absolute Carnage
    3. King in Black
These are all awesome runs, but they're still ongoing except Absolute Carnage

@Crcrcrc I have recently started Immortal Hulk and am loving it! On the 2nd OHC now, that would make top 5 for sure if it carries on as it is!
It's a great series. Too bad it was confirmed by the author to end at #50.

Me too. The buildup has been great, but only time will tell if the finale will be just as good.

If you love Hickman then his new avengers and avengers run: just before infinity and then into secret wars.
Incredible, well planned and a lot of fun.

Francis yu’s artwork throughout is breathtaking.
  • My all time favorite is secret wars 2015 i think its called by I think jonathan Hickman.

The original xmen run still makes amazing reading.

    1) Sentry vol.1 or vol.3 both are great. Vol.2 was slightly on the more confusing end but I still liked it.

    2) Siege/ Dark Avengers

    3) Donny Cates' recent herald Thor run.

I have only just started Immortal Hulk and King In Black is still ongoing.

    I'm taking it old school

    1) The original Secret Wars
    2) Kraven's Last Hunt
    3) Marvels

Assume we are sticking with Marvel which precludes other lines.

1.The Matt Fraction Hawkeye run is terrific. Had a down one of the best reads in recent memory.

    2. A little surprised the original Dark Phoenix run (X-Men 120’s through 130’s) that bleeds into Days of Future Past with Claremont and Byrne wasn’t mentioned.

    3. Amazing Spider-Man so many options...Hobgoblin intro 240’s, Kraven’s Last Hunt (280’s-290’s plus some WoS and PPtSS)

Also Simonson’s Mighty Thor run, Byrne’s FF run. Hard to choose...

    Dr. Zola
