I have almost every 5* champion in the game. I'd like to get a better shot of a new champ because really my most used champs are now 6*s. So yes, I would love to see this 5* variant of the featured for thronebreakers.
At this stage in the game I don't think that it would be a big deal to make 5* basics and features Nexus crystals anyway. There's ~170 champions in the basic pool as it stands so your odds of getting a dupe on a champion are pretty low, even targeting the class crystals.

Max I would shell out is 17.5K 5* shards, and even that is iffy.
