The death of interesting side quests....

Maybe it's just me but these side quests have just been terrible, this is the worse Lunar New Years event ever and honestly, rewards have been half ass at best.

I get the need to make a profit, I don't fault them for that but they either go incredibly over challenging or nonsensical simplified, can a company generating millions a year at the very least find that middle ground?

I haven't wasted an iota of effort for the side quests, almost easier to just log in and log out when the main quests are done and let's not even get into the Arenas...if it wasn't for years playing the game and a pretty cool alliance, this would be slowly heading into the dust bins...

Just my 2 cents...

The last good side event was mutant treasure island, if it worked as originally intended it would have been sensational. They have been lacking recently

    who you using?

I'm just not interested, difficulty isn't the issue...just boring these days.

Yeah; I kinda agree. I’m going to be skipping it. But , it’s not terrible for free.

It was even said in the forum post before the event was released that it would be beginner friendly so I don’t know what you were expecting.

I'm actually enjoying the side quest this month. But not for the fights, for the rewards. I think something like Red Rooms or Treasure Island had much more enjoyable fights, while still having the same good rewards.

are you only saying that because we got insane rewards
No, because is it different to anything we’d seen before. The bugs and execution were a let down but the theory in how it should have played out was great.

The rewards were really good yes, but even if they were a step or two below that I think it was a refreshing concept.

I also don’t think anything will top my little Symbiote though, that’s my all time favorite.

I agree that it’s boring. I’d also rather get 5* and 6* shards than cavs. It guarantees that you’ll get to open what you want eventually. The cavs are a big gamble that most of the time don’t work out.

This really depends on where you are in the game, my alt appreciates this event a lot more than the main, just because of the massive influx of iso it's provided. My main doesn't need the iso at all.

I'm just venting a little, agreed that this would be a solid side quest for beginners, I've been on the game since it started and my alt for the last 3 years...

I think a lot of us that have been on for 6 years get to vent a little "game fatigue"...

Either way, enjoy yourselves and be safe out there.

I'm just hoping that we can have the auto-complete function expand to include various extremely easy quests (like the Lunar one). No reason to make people manually have to one-tap every enemy.
