Stepping away from suicides....

So I've been running Suicides the last year plus and finally decided to go back to the "plain jane" of masteries...
things I've noticed the most...
1. definitely less damage
2. kinda fun being able to use SP 1 and 2 without recoil
3. very cool to be able to use "all" my champs as I choose
haha....I know some of you turn them on and off...
Was wondering what your thoughts may be for some of the beginners out there getting ready to hit 60 points....
My opinion...you have to try Suicides at least once, they have hybrid versions but I went full on, it was fun and with the right champs you can really clear content. I found it to be very very synergy-centric...for example, Fury+Deadpool helps regen some bleed damage...

Think it's well past time to re-examine the mastery system.
should I get suicides?
Stealthy won't like them and shehulk needs to throw specials. I don't like quake losing 10% health every fight. Claire and Aegon are both awesome with suicides, but still great without them. Emma and Warlock can go either way, but I I prefer to sp2s more and warlock can't regen from willpower so even though he'll hit harder, is that better than losing access to multiple sp2s. VOID is more of a pain too so avoid him in war with suicides if you can.
Test it out and see if the trade offs are worth it for your needs and preferred play style.
I don’t advocate for people using them all the time, but should be unlocked for when they are greatly beneficial.
5 Vs 2 ; surely you will be benefitted.
EDIT: I wish Kabam revamps the mastery system. It's too outdated compared to a lot of mastery system available in other games. Switching on/off is a hassle too.
I don't really run into trouble using them unless I use a champ that relies on sp1s... or if I run into a Void.
Sometimes you just gotta pay the Void-tax.
i do really enjoy using suicides as well, since my roster mostly benefited from it. i usually put red mags, cg, guardian (spam sp3 and blast sp2, no recoil damaged tho lol), wlock and others.
oh ya, most of them got a free 5-8% since the bleed become regen with wp and the recoil damage wasn't bother me at all.
I'd love recoil to be placed after the two branches rather than before, I'd seriously consider leaving them on all the time but some of my favorite champs need to use specials and recoil stinks.
Aside from Abyss exploration all content is done, so don’t see a reason to unlock them.
Those two times were for the Dormammu arena when 4* arenas had hit their absolute most annnoying, and for the 7.1 legends run I'm still waiting to find out I lost. It's certainly fun using them, but as a nonwhale I can't really afford to keep them on and off constantly.
