How Expensive Would This Be?

As of right now, I have r5 Aegon and Nick Fury, and r2 Torch. That’s 3 of the 4 horsemen of the Abyss. I have no viable 5* or 6* mystics for Abyss yet. Would it be a bad idea to go in now with a 4* Doom? I don’t want to spend more units than I have to, because I really don’t like grinding arena.

I think you should wait. Preferably until you have maybe a 6* Doom, maybe a six star awakened Fury, possibly a six star Ægon if you want to be truly safe.

Tbh from my fresh experience of abyss id say a good mystic is more important than a torch or nick. I reckon using a 4* doom would cost around 5-6k units

Do you have Sym Supreme as a 5 star or 6 star? I would not go in with a 4 star and plan on using them. You will spend extra units doing so. I would hold off or fins a different Champ to take in.

No, I don’t have any of the options. I’m focusing on science/mystics for now.

What fights do you need doom for? I did it without him 100%. I used longshot and SS for every fight basically.

Honestly I'd do it.
I used aegon for every fight that a mystic is used on except vtd and medusa. I did bring longshot with the idea of using him against all cosmic champs but hyperion and the champion would have taken roughly 5 or so revives. Did it in 2 with aegon.

Morningstar is actually really solid for path 1. And clair works. @King_Leo321 knows all about Clair in abyss 🥴. Probably 4k units plus or minus with MS.

Yes absolutely easily, I did my easy path with Morningstar back in the day and dug up my old note where i recorded revives, team was stealth spidey, corvus, Morningstar, torch and heimdall. For the fights i used MS for:
Medusa- 5 revives to build up, 1 to finish off
Cap Marvel movie- 1 revive
VTD- 4 revives (put mystic dispersion to 3)
Hyperion- My MS was unawakened so i couldnt use her for it, used team revives, that was a tough fight. But if yours is a high enough sig she can definitely take Hype. If not, in later runs i used Aegon to power through when i did 100% and only used 3 or 4 revives
Champion- i actually used stealth spidey, but MS could do it in not too many
Aegon- 1 revive
Cull- Solo

My md is 4. Should I reset it to 3?

I had MD 4 or 5 throughout, the more specials with MS the better. But for VTD with 10 buffs to nullify if you have 4 or 5 MD you will overshoot your sp2 and do less damage.

Have whichever MD level you fancy for most of the fights, but for VTD you will likely want 3 Max
