Rankup suggestion: Civil Warrior/Punisher 2099/Doctor Octopus?

My 2017 generic 3-to-4 rank up gem is about to expire and I have sufficient resources to rankup a tech champ to 5R5. Here are my options (shown below). Any suggestion (all of them are awakened)?

PS: I already finish the majority of MCOC contents (only AOL and LOL left), so I don't have any preferences for these three champs at this moment~

    I feel like P99 is really underrated right now, would love to see more people rank him up. He basically does what Ock does with a lot more of a realistic playstyle. He just doesn't do it quite as well.

    Doctopus's power control has come in clutch far more than I ever figured it would. I'd love to awaken my 6*. The heavy corner spam is particularly satisfying.

    Problem is you cant afford to put points in collar tech mastery

    P99 is a close second. Civil Warrior is a bit too stressful for my liking, but if you enjoy playing him, he’s arguably better than P99

    Is there any path I could use Dr. Octopus in Variant 6? I know he is villain but it seems not to be a decent option comparing other villain champs like Venom, Magneto, Dr. Doom or Rhino~~

    I think in some of the advanced power gain fights, I'd use him, but since you got Doom for those, it's kinda pointless

    I think you got the main men for V6, all you need is Ibom who decimates all bosses and a ton of niche nodes
    I think the worst path for me in Variant 6 is the Throne path in 6.2.1, as my Omega Red is still 5R2 and I don’t have 5 or 6* Magneto......

    He's a tech god. Recently I had completed 5.2.6 I have him at r2 and he'll be useful for me as well as for u also.
