To this day I've never been able to successfully dex Korg's sp1
Keep trying. I was the same way. You have to start the first dex slightly earlier than you expect, then it’s just three in a row in sync. Once you finally figure it out it feels great.

Idk about always, but once was certainly enough. Firing off a loaded sp2 using Guardian against Havok mini in aw without landing a heavy attack first... "This will definitely end it.." It sure did, I went from 98% to zero instantly. 😂
