Am I Crazy Or Is Kabam Support Trollin Me?

I’m playing Cavs and as I’m doing the last path for 100% exploration, I noticed that 1 lane was showing incomplete. So I decided to search the map and all paths were completed except the 1 I’m on. I decided to finish my path and test where that path goes. As soon as I used the portal, it brought me to a solid line path so I exited. I then submitted a ticket and the response I got was “As I have check your account, I was able to confirm that in your run in "Clash of Champions" Chapter 2, Quest 1 on April 23, 2021 6:43 AM PDT you manually exited the quest before going through the final node to complete it.”
Look at thes pictures and tell me how I exited without completing. Am I crazy?!?

You need to take that path and then finish the quest. There's been tons of posts about this. Yes it sucks.

There’s only 1 way to get there so how did I complete it if I didn’t take it? I’m not understanding. There no path I didn’t take. Why would it go back to unexplored?

You took it when there was a select a destination portal past Havok. It used to port to the one that the bottom portal now sends you as well. You took the Havok twice and the backwards never. It’s annoying but it’s not too tremendously bad.

When it was first released, there were multiple (and pointless) portals.
They later changed this to remove the pointless ones.
But anybody who initially ran it early on (guessing like you) and took one of those jumps without checking all the portals to see if that particular way was a good idea or not, will have to do 1 extra final run to piece together segments of unfinished paths that people who didn’t start playing it until later would not have to worry about.

I didn’t fight Havok twice. I only fought him once. I always check where links are going 1st. I would’ve noticed if there was a double portal. I also didn’t explore this chapter early. I explore in reverse, so I did chapter 3 1st. I don’t have time to play like that, so I’m only exploring chapter 2 now. Nobody regardless of the situation should have to waste energy refighting a whole path for 1 link.

The 1st time I fought Havok was this week. I took the down portal before. This is why I’m confused about having to do it again. I hate that you have to almost record everything you do just to prove you did it. I wouldn’t make this up.

So you believe you initially went BOTTOM when quest first came out beginning of month, which I believe you believe only because currently there is only one way to get to that path starting with “A” in 1st pic that does show you had previously done that A path (above and to left of that short CapIW path).

But as stated, the Havok path ALSO used to be able to jump to that same spot, as well as to a spot higher up. But problem was that going Bottom only had single jump (to that A point).
So people originally went Havok, but jumped to that A point (instead of Havok's other exit higher up point), and then later realized that Bottom only had a single exit, also to that same A path which they had already done (but need to do again because of not actually going there via the Bottom 1-step segment).

So I think you are mistaken and originally went via Havok instead of by bottom (after all, it's been several weeks, easy to not remember which way you had went originally).

That would make more sense if Havok’s path was solid running it again. By posting this on other media sites I have found out I’m not the only one who picked the down path and was still forced to do it again. As I explained before I scout all paths before picking 1. That includes portal gates. I would have noticed 6 portals for 5 paths. I also wouldn’t have skipped a dotted undefended path over fighting Havok twice. Lesson learned though. Screenshot or record everything so the nay sayers have nothing nay to say.
