Karnak > Ægon. And here's why

Karnak has true strike from simple special 1 firing, while Ægon needs to ramp up his combo for his.

Karnak has almost guaranteed crits after a very short duration, not relying on combo gains for increasing his like Ægon does.

Karnak can survive several poisons and non damaging debuffs getting shrugged straight of the bat if he's duped, while Ægon needs to actively hit the opponent for debuffs on him to be removed.

Karnak has way more powerful AAR via his sp3 than Ægon can ever dream of.

Karnak doesn't need to take hits or apply bleeds to opponent for maximum damage.

That is all.
