I am still super salty to this day about it. The fact that I could have gotten ANYONE else and had to get this really infuriates me

It was kinda like clickbait, but Luke Cage is top 5 worst in the game. That’s why I was really upset
You got a free gift that you're technically not even eligible for in "the real world". If anything else at least you got some free 4* shards towards your next 4*. No sense in being salty and dwelling over a 3*.

It’s a Luke Cage dude, you might have like every 3 star and have them all duped, but I don’t and I NEED good 3 stars so I can get more 4 stars

Not at level 37 it is not. At level 37 he is a bleed immune champ with an interesting signature ability. And by the time you outlevel his abilities all of your 3* champions will be equally inert as Luke Cage.
I think you are upset about Luke Cage because you were *told* he was one of the worst, not because your experience tells you he is one of the worst. That's a mistake. Different champs have different value in different situations and in different parts of the game. One of my first few 4* champs was Colossus. People get all sad when they pull him as a 5* and with some justification: he's not normally considered 4/55 worthy and many 4* champs will outperform him as a 5*. But in the early game when you pull him as a 4* he's bleed immune and hits comparatively hard and doesn't need to be awakened. Unawakened Colossus 4* is more useful than an unawakened Star Lord 4* and at low levels you're unlikely to awaken any 4* quickly.
5* Colossus is less likely to be used for a while and then eventually replaced. Many of the players who pull him already have better 4* champs than 5* Colossus and leveling him up is expensive if you are eventually going to replace him with a better pull down the road. But by comparison 3* Luke Cage is worth leveling up and using because it doesn't cost much to level up 3* champs in general and there's very little opportunity cost in ranking up him now.
At level 37 3* champs are still relatively infrequent and you were just handed one for free. I would have been happy to get him at 37, because I could have used him at 37. I think your high expectations may be spoiling your fun. You're cheating yourself out of some enjoyment of the game if you are upset about a free 3* champion just because he isn't considered one of the better champs. Heck, I might be happier to get a 3* Luke Cage than you are, because hey, 4* shards.
Ok so Luke Cage is better than, Spider-Man, Miles Morales, Symbiote Spider-Man, Angela, X-23, Ant-Man, Ms.Marvel, Abomination, Howard the Duck, War Machine, Spider-Gwen, Venom, Carnage, Quake, Colossus, Gwenpool, Black Panther, Falcon, Archangel, Hyperion, Kamala Khan, Cyclops, Magneto, Rogue, Storm, Guillotine, Joe Fix It,and Black Widow, yea I don’t think so. Plus those are all of my 3 stars and compared to him they are like gods.
Also I’m level 39 now
The day before I could get a grandmaster my tablet broke. at least you got something lol.
