Did the level up solo even milestones requirements get increased or am I trippin?

To reach max milestones I would typically rank lvl up a 6* and then some. maybe a quarter of another or some 3*s. Yesterday I lvl'd 2 6* and like 13 3*s to reach max milestones and cost a tone of gold. If this is how it is now its just not worth it to run out of gold. It worked well before.

I leveled up a bunch of r1 lvl 1 four stars and a five star and hit 135 I don't think anything has changed.
