Hi

First of all thanks for this tip . :D

But i would appreciate if you tell us CAV players if we will be able to pick up our rewards after we reached the 6th milestone since there is no reason to participate for us after this milestone.

And what would happen if we CAV players miss 1boss yet its the last week (9) will players be able to still play this event if they didnt reach 9points, so they can participate in week 10 of this event so they can get the point they are missing or are CAV players restricted to play after week 9?

Summer of Pain is going to have nine weeks of fights. Cavalier players will be able to kill the fight and earn the point. There's nine fights, so the maximum number of points possible will be nine, which corresponds to milestone six.

Starting in week four, the game will also release special objectives you can do to score more points. Only Thronebreakers will actually see these objectives, so only Thronebreakers will be able to do them for points.

On August 18th (this would be the start of week 10) there's supposed to be some mega challenge that will last for two weeks. I'm pretty sure Cavalier players will not be able to do that for milestone points.

The reward table hints at how this will likely work. The first three milestones take one point each to (incrementally) achieve. So the first three weeks will just have one fight for one point. The announcement states that starting in week for there will be objectives that Thronebreakers can do for additional points. Milestones start taking two points per tier to reach, so it is likely that in each week from week four to week nine there will be one fight and one Thronebreaker objective. Cavs will be able to score one point per week, Thronebreakers as much as two. At the end of week nine a Cav player that completes every fight will have nine points corresponding to milestone six, which the announcement states is the highest milestone Cavalier players can expect to be reachable. Thronebreakers, I am guessing, could score as much as 15 points by now: one point per week for the first three weeks, then two points per week for the last six weeks (3 + 6*2 = 15). This would place them at milestone eight, which is the highest milestone that does not include rank 4 materials.

The announcement states that the last two weeks will have a special mega challenge. The maximum milestone takes an additional 14 points to reach from 15 (27 points). My guess is that this will involve a larger map ("The final challenge will go live on August 18 and feature horrific highlights from the previous weeks, all leading up to a fight that has likely haunted your dreams before.") and a set of objectives associated with them. Seven fights with seven associated objectives, maybe. There is no chance that Cavalier players will be able to enter this challenge or complete the objectives associated with them.

Peak milestones are always awarded after the event ends. This means whether you're Cavalier or Thronebreaker, you will probably not receive those rewards until after August 31 (the end of the event).

You might hit TB halfway through summer and then you wouldn't be singing the same tune.

They should make it where TB has to end the fight at 0 defender health and Cavs have to end the fight in negative defender health.
