Some AI's have been recently been pretty cunning. I always can admire how they work around nodes - take for example the tech node in this cav eq. It has happened to me many times during my exploration that the AI actually held onto its sp attack long enough for the shock to expire (which gave the opponent unblockable ofc). However it didnt work the way that it wouldn't throw SP until the shock expired. It sometimes waited a fraction of a second before throwing the sp, so that the shock expired just a tiny moment before that sp ended and the unblockable was still gained (so for ex shock has 3.1 secs left, its sp attack lasts 3 secs. So the AI waits 0.2 secs and throws the sp, so that the shock expires 0.1 secs before the sp ends and it gains its unblockable).
Ofc it's not just this node, but many others as well. Typical example could be Icarus - once the fury starts expiring, the AI goes super defensive

I agree with you 100% to entire post but decided to leave most meaningful sentence in reply. I've quit a few weeks ago now come back once a week to see how many pay to play elements they added, how much more complex they make little things, how many new bugs and few people screaming. I was one of those and come here less and less to get my fix from installing the game and this forum gives me the voice of reason. I agree they need to keep the game fun and exciting and promote spending, but don't agree with the model they are going with. Catering to top 5% and rest of player base needs 24/7 play and research to keep up. Thx for starting this post. It's been a fun read.
