Bishop looks like he will definitely be more fun to play!

When it comes to champ buffs, what we see on paper doesn't always translate to effective reality. In this case however, I think Bishop's buff may end up being the best out of the bunch.

He looks decent. Great DDHK/Moleman/Kingpin counters with the passive stun when they purify the regular stun. I like the specials only cost bars when they end so you can finish a fight with an SP2 and then go into the next fight with an SP2 ready.

Not going to say that the buff is "perfect" but this is a real good way to buff a champ.

"Decent" it does look pretty perfect to me

I daren't say a buff is perfect because I don't want my hopes to be misplaced. In terms of this years buffs though, this might be the best.

I can't wait to try out my duped 6* though. In the right circumstances he already does monstrous damage so.... I'm just going to be cautiously optimistic.

Not really. It just slows his prowess gain a bit. He should still be fine for tech fights.

edit: nevermind, thought you were referring to using him as an attacker against tech, not fighting him in AQ.

Yeah the counters have reduced for sure. I feel that's kind of silly, but what can we do.

Yes I remember when DDHK's abilities were out in advance and everyone though he would Squirrel Girl with more damage and utility.

Vulture is probably the best counter to him now. Incinerate immune and has good damage and power control, seems to check every box you’ll need.

Nope, as far as I can tell his prowesses will just fall off down to 30. No punishment to either combatant, which I’m ultimately okay with.

One of my least favorite things about current Bishop was that he’d rather kill himself than put up the big numbers he was clearly designed for. I’ll happily trade the cheese tactics for a usable character.

Seems very unlikely but I noticed his Synergies still aren't Classified as Unique Synergies, wonder if he can still Stack them like he used to.
I'd be shocked if that wasn't changed though seeing as the Synergies themselves got Upgraded.

I think he’s supposed to be able to stack them. You can build a team so that he just starts every fight at three bars of power if you want, but unfortunately that team’s gonna suck pretty badly. Although Bishop, Storm, Storm, Storm, Apoc might be fun

cannot be magiked. Because he will overload and kill you.

Throw an SP3 in the first second, giving them permanent Energy Vulnerability; plus having Steady Release running if you're Awakened.

Looking forward to trying it out - they've also made him partially effective against Techs, at least; instead of being completely neutered. Looks good...
