Level 5 Uncollected Deal ?! What happened mcoc

Its a genuine disappointment to see how low kabam has pushed down uncollected. For the first time in my 6 years of playing this is the first time I genuinely felt upset.

The amount of time and money put into becoming uncollected is just blindsided and immediately is opened up to Level 5 players who most likely have not even passed 1.1.

I strongly hope that this trend does not continue in the future and this is a one time occurrence because seeing how kabam is pushing down and grouping together progression tiers is really sad.

    Just logged in and in the update section they announced ALL players at least lvl 5 get uncollected 4th of July offers. Kinda ass tbh
    It's kind of like the summoner appreciation calendar from last year. Except everyone got the same thing. And people in act 2 got 6*s.

    I wonder if they're going to do a big content squish of act 1-3 and kind of merge it all into one thing. It wouldn't be the first MMO to do something like this to speed up the early game process drastically.

    I completely agree. What UC players need right now is Fully Formed T5B, T2A, 5* AG and Extra T4b. Will they just give all that to Act 1 players? Im very worried to see how they do this.

    As they've hinted at and stated recently, the game is moving towards Uncollected slowly becoming basically the starting point of progress for the game. They are balancing resources deliberately with the intent to accelerate players towards UC. In part that means slowly removing the tiering distinctions between all of the tiers lower than UC over time.

    It may not seem fair to players who have become Uncollected, but this happens everywhere in the game in different ways. Someone who becomes Cavalier today will be getting far better Cavalier rewards than those of us to became Cavalier when it first became available, and the same will be true of Thronebreaker eventually. Players today will get better things than the players of the similar progress got yesterday, and sometimes that will happen subtly over time and sometimes it will happen more dramatically such as how Kabam seems to be simplifying progress title distinctions.

    This happens in reverse also. When an offer comes out for Uncollected and up, instead of Uncollected and down, that means Uncollected players are getting the exact same offer as Cavalier and Thronebreaker players. There are Cavalier players who complain that they are not getting a better offer than Uncollected players are getting; that Uncollected players should not get as good of an offer as they do. That's just how some offers work.

    The direct answer to your question is that Kabam has no intention of balancing the July 4 offers to both level 5 players and Uncollected players. They will probably balance the offers to Uncollected status, and simply allow lower people to get access to those same offers. In this case, they don't care if those lower players get more stuff than their progress level would normally imply, because they want those players to hurry up and reach Uncollected status anyway.

    The only issue is that currently, there are still skills in pre-uncollected that are needed for later in the game (looking at you, reading nodes in Act 4) which players will never learn if the achieve Uncollected power levels before obtaining uncollected. In your scenario, it is not the UC players losing out (except psychologically), it is actually the level 5 player losing out the most.
    I suspect the calculation is that this train has already left the station. After all my baby level 40 account that I only play a couple times a month and is parked in a solo alliance very rarely doing map 1 for giggles is currently cruising through one path at a time in Act 4 with his 6* Mojo.

    There's also the 1* Hulk situation which an ally mate is suffering from now. Unless you're extremely lucky in your first few openings, you're gonna be burning units for him later on

    V4 final quest will be painful without him. It's either burn units to get him or burn revives and do thousands of hits to kill the Mordo mini and be prepared to do the same for each fight in the caustic temper path during exploration.

    i don't see how this will affect Cavalier or Thronebreaker deals. If anything maybe it will affect Uncollected deals and they won't be as good
