just imagine if doom was a new champ everyone knew how good he is an he was ib the 6* arena anyone say 300+
Nope lol. Doom is great and all but i dont think some of you realise how ridiculously op Hercules is.
Herc has damage and immorality, he basically like another version of cap marvel movie. Doom is still the power control king, that’s pretty op in this game.
What can herc do that’s so special no other champ can do then, enlighten me.
Dude can stay stun immune whole fight. Invulnerability whole fight. High dmg. Ignore miss and autoblock and requires about 0% skills to do so. I knew people was gonna disagree cause yall love having a easy time. But hes op and thats just how it is
He has to be able to stay aggressive to even making prolonging his immortal realistic not to mention it’s affected by ability accuracy reduction and it’s a buff which basically means it not reliable in AW which is where deaths actually count. Several champs can ignore miss and auto block. So yeah Basically my R3 capt marvel and CGR rolled into one, I’m not saying he’s not good but he’s nothing extraordinary. His prestige is basically more important than any of his abilities to the people that grinded for him.
You just said it yourself though. He's like 2 champs rolled into one. That's 1 slot on a team instead of 2 two now. That alone is valuable.
The actual problem is not the 6* or the 5* champ cutoff, not that many players going for those, but, there's many players myself included, that play arenas for the top 1-5% (or 6-10%, 11-30% etc, depending on rosters), that's strongly dependable to those 6-5* cutoff numbers. I remember before the arenas' changes, you could get 1-5% for 22-23? and now 25 is the bottom line, In Hercules' case, 1-5% cutoff was 27. Personally I stopped playing featured and started the basic arena, where you can get the 1-5% more easily. BUt it's not that fun, a r2 6* gets same points as a 5* r5, I m now less "happy" getting a trashy 6* from crystals, I lost the "at least it's going to help me in the arenas" excuse entirely.
Guys chill with the disagrees I literally saw a screenshot of it on prof hoff's channel 🙄✋
A 100 did not. bad comparison.
idk what that means, but i did see a prof hoff video about high doom scores, i'm not a liar
a 100 summoners did not hit high scores like this one did. The cutoff has never been this high. so it is a bad comparison.
a 100 summoners?!? what does that mean, also it was a joke about misinformation from proff hoff.
top100 in herc arena was 170million. means 100 folks grinded 170+. thats what i meant. of course, "prof" is the most unreliable so i dont believe anything with him as the source.

ohhh top 100. I said 200 mill cuz thats what karate mike put up, im aware that the cutoff was 170. Yuhp i think we agree
What is the unit amount needed to run just one team of 6*’s over and over?
Assuming suicides and 300K per round once the 3X multiple is achieved as well as a limitless supply of 1.30 6* arena boosts (making the total ~390K per round), you’d need ~513 rounds to hit 200 million points.
Assuming as well that you get 6 free rounds for that lone team of 6*’s (from natural refreshing), that boils down to ~507 rounds, each of which would be bought at a cost of 60 units. Also assumes no other champs are used.
So…60 units per ~507 rounds runs to 30,420 units. Or 10-ish Odins.
People do this?
Dr. Zola
I will add one other element: assume the same someone has 30 additional teams of 6*’s that get played at the regular intervals—that is, approximately 6 times over the course of the arena. For each of these, assume full boosts yielding ~250K per round for a total of 9M each of the 6 runs. Total of 54M deducted from the 200M target.
Still need ~369 more rounds at 60 units each, or 22,140 units.
Assume someone has enough 6* champs to use them exclusively for 1000 rounds (not possible, but we're getting there) while spending the maximum amount of units on refreshes that is economically sensible (which is the average amount of units it would take to just buy the champ from featured Cavs) and you get to about 250 million points.
The ceiling of "reasonable effort" for some very extreme definition of reasonable is probably in that vicinity. The Herc cutoff scores were extremely high, but not quite at the point of maximum economically sensible effort.

Perhaps you should reread what you typed then. You clearly stated it is 2 champs rolled into one.

What you read and what you interpret is up to you. Rolled into one meaning borrowed abilities, it’s impossible for him to actually be both those champs. Besides what difference does it make how its worded, read between the lines. Trying to pull some specific wording from my comments won’t change my view on him.

Before the arenas were updated 1-5% rank rewards were 300 6* shards and 5000 5* shards. Today the 1-5% rank reward includes 1000 6* shards and 5000 5* shards. Ever since the arenas were updated the 1-5% cutoff has been slowly going up to reflect the fact that the rewards are higher than they used to be, and were going up before the scoring changes to the arena. Even now it takes less effort to get more rewards than the original five-way arenas used to offer, and scores are still adjusting to that fact. They'd almost certainly still be going up with or without the scoring changes. Even now, you can get more 6* shards landing in the 6-10% bracket than we used to get in the 1-5% bracket in the old 5* featured arena. That combined with the fact that people are building up 6* rosters significantly faster now than in the past is almost certainly the primary driver of rank reward scores going up.

You keep saying that and yet everyone who gots him and actually sees what i see runs thru it all with him without any effort. You make staying aggressive sound difficult when you are unblockable and invulnerable
Yet you seem to think the champs i mentioned can’t run through the same fights without any effort. It proves nothing. Tons of champs can beat the same fights he can, in fact after Act 6 was nerfed so hard almost nothing in game has any real challenge so it’s hardly impressive.

And yet your complaining how one singular champ outshines 2 separate ones in said content. All it is doing is making you look like your complaining. That's how these types of games progress.

Doom can't be OP if there's essentially no real challenges in the game. By definition, nothing can be overpowered in a game where there's no need for power.
Although to be honest I don't know which build of the game I seem to be missing, that almost nothing in the game has any real challenge. Either I and 99.9% of the players are playing a different version of the game, or I and 99.9% of the players really, really suck at this game. I suppose it is the latter.
In some respects, I'm very fortunate I suck at this game. It means my current favorite mode of entertainment is something I find challenging and aspirationally enjoyable. I cannot imagine how crushingly depressing it would be if my primary mode of entertainment was something I found unchallenging and pointless. That sounds bleak.
I thought I was the only one. When people say act 7 is a joke, I think " No, it wasn't. It still took some effort to get it down". Sure, it may not be a roster check as act 6, but it was still challenging enough for me to struggle and fun enough for me to complete. Guess, I suck at the game.

I agree with the numbers, but this doesn't change the fact that it's harder to achieve the % you did before. And the 6* rosters don't go that much faster than one year ago. Even so, you get more champs to be able to follow the % number increase, but that means even more time for playing. If you miss half a day because of work, chores or whatever, you miss the rewards you usually get.
