Can you? It isn't negative power gain but neither does it mean negative power. Combat power rate usually refers to the power you get from hitting, blocking, etc.

Can you actually explain your thought process on how combat power rate going negative and reversing, means lower than 0 bars? I mean this in no argumentative way, I just don’t know how you’ve come to the conclusion that you’re right.

What do you think this means? It's not even possible to interpret this node with your logic. Go and do a fight, you'll notice that defender gains a ton of power per hit which is because combat power rate is what we have been saying it is.

Bruh what is going on, the question at hand has been addressed. How about you all stop pinging the thread to the top and go to group therapy to get this all figured out or something

Defensive combat power rate is the power rate from getting hit, blocking,etc. Offensive combat power rate is the power rate from hitting the opponent, etc. You don't get both at the same time otherwise everyone would have 200% powerate from everything you do. To test this, go and do a fight in 7.1.2 in the path I mentioned, you'll notice that defender doesn't gain as much from attacking as they do from getting hit. So, my point still stands through this.

I'm done explaining to you. Maybe try and read and comprehend what others are saying instead of trying to go on a streak of trying to prove that you are right and others are wrong. You'll eventually figure it out. Power rate, be it offensive or defensive functions the same. I've also noticed how you have no counter-arguement to the overall point everyone's been making but rather this whole offensive/defensive thingy which you yourself are confused.

If you have -ve combat power gain and you go from 2 bars of power to 1 bar of power, you're combat power gain is -ve but you power is still +ve, so no Power =/= Combat Power Gain.
what you're comparing is like saying displacement is same as velocity

Power means the amount of Power youcurrently sit on. For example a bar of power or 2 bars of power or 3 bars of power.
Combat power rate is the amount of Power you gain for each hit (given/offensive or taken/defensive).

Everyone I’ve ever spoken to refers to it as power (eg 1 bar of power. push them over a bar of power).
Combat power rate is how much power you gain from hitting or being hit and referring to it as just power leads to confusion very easily as now no one knows if you mean combat power gain or passive power gain.
