Ranking 6* for Thronebreaker

Completing the Grandmaster fight this week and I'll have enough T5CC to take one champ to Rank 3 for Thronebreaker after SOP rewards. Wondering who will carry the most weight in Act 7.

I prefer not to run suicides if that factors into your recommendation at all.

    Well, @StaphMember you can't go wrong with any of them, they are all immense. Warlock over the other two techs and Corvus only if running suicides. Apoc, warlock, Nick, capiw (duped too) are most of what you need.

    Apoc hands down the best choice, great by himself but absolutely amazing for other mutants. Warlock is an amazing option too. and neither of them really need to be awakened, which is a huge plus for this big of a rank up

    I mean, I would say that you can't go wrong with all of them, but Nick Fury gets a HUGE boost in utility with awakening, Corvus gets a solid boost, while CapIW and Guardian could really use a much higher sig. Doesn't have to be sig 200, but there is a noticeable difference between them at sig 40 and them at sig 140.

    That saying, all your champs are great and many will be pretty useful later on in Act 7. Personally, I just am not a huge Apoc fan, but his rank-up and utility is also really dependent on if you have other mutants that you would play with alot (AA, Wolvie, etc.). If you don't use the horseman ability, he isn't trash, but his overall value is definitely diminished somewhat. I would say Warlock, but honestly, I enjoy playing less hyped-up characters like Spam or Guilly 2099. They have some crazy utility and definite usability, but again, choose who you like. Your whole list is great.

    Seeing that you’ve said you’re on the GM I’ll say apoc. He clears sooooo much of 7.1-7.2 and will be very handy in exploring act 6 or 7

    Mysterio is the best choice for Rank 3. Sure Ghost might be considered better, but Fishbowls > damage/utility.

    Apocalypse needs a team of mutants around him to become as good as he can be. Not all mutants, but you ideally want Cable (or one of the other champs in the same synergy) for the quick ramp-up and then possibly a third mutant to make a horseman. That's quite an investment. Not necessarily a bad investment, but Warlock is just a superb champ all on his own and I really appreciate that.

    If you do have the mutants to form a team I might be inclined to change things up, but you didn't mention anyone else in the post. I therefore lean toward Warlock.

    Of course on my last Olympus run I awakened 6* Nick Fury. Not to complicate things further.

    I think the best call is to choose all 3 25% t5cc selectors (SOP and act 6 rewards) in a class I’m not close to forming otherwise (skill, mutant, science) and rank Fury, Apoc, or CAIW. That way I’d still have the reserve 30k cosmic and tech to take up Corvus or Warlock sooner rather than later.
