We’ll need to wait and see how the damage reflect works. For example, if you place a DoT on Mysterio before he uses his special 1, he does not then reflect the DoT damage at you when his reflection ends. Red numbers, in my experience, tend to bypass reflect mechanics.

If that is the case, Bishop might work extremely well. Spam sp1 to keep incinerates on her and every time she purifies them she takes damage from his ability to punish shrug/purify mechanics.

Apocalypse could also work to prevent her from shrugging anything (unless she has something like force of will, I haven’t looked at her nodes except for Haunted yet.)

With reflecting namor reflects all back, its not really shrugging but removing will have to see how that interacts with apocs ability.
I went and checked out her nodes and added more to my thought. Still conditioned on how her reflect mechanic works, you’re right about Namor.

She'll shrug apocalypses bleed, poison and degen

Will she though? I think we have to wait and see.

It's part of her normal abilities. You can go and test it today
Dumb of me not to think to test it, you’re right she did shrug his DoT effects. But that could prove to be beneficial in this fight since we won’t have to worry about the reflect mechanic.

The concussion and weakness may still stick, depending on the node interaction. If you can juggle them long enough to make them permanent, I think he’s still a decent option.

It says “purifies all debuffs” so the concussion won’t stick. And if you’re thinking “but it says purify which is unlike ghost’s ability, so Apoc can prevent it”, it says that AAR does NOT affect the node, and Apoc’s kit states that the opponent has -100% Purify AAR, so it won’t work. So Apoc’s abilities don’t help in this fight unfortunately.

I have a max Sig 5/65 DDHK. He will most likely be the champ I'll use. He ignores falter, plus is a pseudo Namor against direct damage / degeneration damage

Falter is unaffected by AAR, but the purification is unmentioned. So the weakness and concussion may well stick. Interesting. You’ll need good spacing in order to refresh the debuffs long enough to keep them up until you can make them permanent, but it could work well.

It's just falter that's unaffected by AAR
Oohhh thanks, sorry I didn’t pay attention to the exact wording. So this great for people who have Apoc ranked up since he is a good option for the fight now. And could you send the video to me or something in case I need it for future reference (if you have it)

but will they stick though? i've seen them distinguish between damaging debuffs and non damaging before. this node says debuffs in general so is it both non and damaging that get purified?

Symbiote Supreme gonna be a great counter, now hear me out...

Mystic Ward doesn't affect Staggers so we don't have to worry about that, she's gonna be gaining a Lot of Buffs from the difference Nodes like when being Knocked Down or Dashing Back with Debuffs Applied.

SS just happens to have a Damage Phase that applies Debuffs on every single hit (as well the Sp2 applying up to 9 Buffs after an Sp3), you're gonna hit a cycle of applying Bleeds/those Bleeds turning into Buffs/those Buffs being Staggered which gives Power and Deals Damage/that Power gives you an Sp3/Repeat.

Ah shite, the best purify champ I have at a good rarity is none other than… DDHK, that shows what trash skill champs I have

Been thinking about DDHK and DD, who cannot miss.
